U21s: Manchester United vs Norwich

Good skill from Memphis, wins a FK which I assume our resident 'FK specialist' will take.

EDIT: He does, and it's straight into the wall.

Attitude and application of these youngsters is exceptional

TFM with a long range effort which goes about 10 yards wide.

Commentator: "Just didn't get enough bend on that."

The ball could've made a right angle turn mid air and it still wouldn't have gone in

Full time 7-0: really fun to watch. Will Keane was in inspired form. Memphis, Pereira, Weir and Harrop all did very well. TFM looks like a brilliant talent and Love also was great at RB.

Good to see Jones with some minutes on the clock, unfortunate to see Adnan and Varela injured.

Surely Will Keane will be given a chance in the next few weeks?

Will of old  Such a lovely player when on form, oozes class.....give him a chance against Shrewsbury.

Knew this would happen when I saw both line-ups.Don't know much about Norwich but they should have gone with something resemble to the line-up when they beat us earlier this season, not this youthful one.

Surely he deserves a chance in the first team....maybe FA cup?

Demolition, to be fair to Norwich they have a very weakened U21 side at the moment, they are pretty much all out on loan or injured at the moment.

Fantastic performance tonight, some of the stuff we played would have been too good for some PL teams at times. Like watching the first team of old :) top class finishing too. Could be more than just Keane that gets a go in the first team before the season is out.

Another U21 game on Thursday? Nice to see the games coming thick and fast now.

OK maybe that team was a bit too strong for U-21s.. But Keane has earned his place against Midtjylland and Shrewsbury(jesus that was hard to write)

Keane has a Teddy Sheringham look about him. I think Teddy did score something like that from that very position. I will look.

keane should be on the bench for the first team now.

shame about adnan's injury and memphis does need these u-21 outings to get things running a bit for him.

It will be interesting to see the team on Thursday, one would assume that anyone who starts that game probably might not be considered ready for an early Saturday kick-off (depending on their minutes played)
