Manchester United Under-21s entertain Fulham tonight (Monday, 19:00 GMT) in another home match at Leigh Sports Village.
The Reds returned to winning ways at the same venue last week with a 2-1 success over Liverpool when January signing Victor Valdes made his first outing for the club while Nick Powell and Paddy McNair scored the goals.
Tom Thorpe returned from injury to captain United against the Merseysiders and produced his customary assured performance while Jesse Lingard proved his return to fitness. There could be line-up changes against Fulham, however, not least if the looming transfer deadline - tonight at 23:00 - sparks interest in some of Warren Joyce's young players. Ben Amos and Joe Rothwell are already unavailable after heading out on loan to Bolton Wanderers and Blackpool respectively.
Whoever he fields against Fulham, Joyce is hoping the fans turn out in good numbers to support United Under-21s.
There is a chance of United returning to the top of the division if Chelsea record a narrow victory over current leaders Southampton in their game. The Reds are in fourth spot but only six points separate the top seven clubs.
The match will be shown live on MUTV with coverage starting at 18:30 GMT.

"There was a great crowd for the Liverpool match [5,102] and it felt like a proper league game," he told MUTV. "Hopefully, it was an entertaining night for them and people will come along again. I know Liverpool was a big one but we have got some good games in these next few weeks so I hope people can make the effort to come to these fixtures too."
