7pm today at Prenton Park.Live on MUTV.

U18s match vs. Brighton at Carrington on the same time.

If Januzaj and Pereira play, surely they will then not play against West ham?!

Remember Liverpool kids will also be up for this and would love nothing more than putting a dent in our title challenge.

U21s: #mufc v Liverpool (A) - J. Pereira; Valencia, Williams, McNair, Riley; El Fitouri, McTominay, Love; A. Pereira, Januzaj, Weir.
U21s: #mufc subs v Liverpool (A) - Henderson, Fosu-Mensah, Poole, Rothwell, Redmond.

ffs bench is better then the first eleven....really disappointing team from my perspective, no one to watch apart from McTominay and even he isnt on the watch list because of his footballing talents.

Joyce is as much of an idiot as Van Gaal, what kind of a midfield is that. Why are Redmond and Poole on the bench. I have no word. No wonder this club going downhill, even the youth coaches idiots. Blind leading the blind.

No one to watch? What about Januzaj and Pereira?

No one to watch? What about Januzaj and Pereira?

januzaj is pretty much the finished article on this level and on top of that im not really the biggest fan of his....Pereira is good when is playing from deep(not a fan of his at AM, similar to Barkley) and when he has someone to play with, today he is surrounded by average players so most likely it will be competition from both him and Januzaj at who can play like Coutinho.....

skrtel playing, nice! McTominay vs Skrtel, all of the sudden this game became very interesting!

So Fosu-Mensah is good enough to play well vs. Watford but El-Fitouri starts instead? This line-up pisses me off in a lot of ways.

love it when Januzaj and Memphis take free kicks off Pereira and Mata

No idea why El Fitouri starts. Look, we know he won't make it at United. Let other players get some game time.

yeah, i was gonna say the same thing. pretty disappointing to see.

Not to make excuses because he should still be professional but I think he's struggling to motivate himself at this level. Over the last few matches I think he's got gradually less impressive as his optimism has wained. Watch him score a worldie now

Sounds like Pereira has finally cracked. :( If this term selection is an indicator we will be wheeling the usual suspects wheeled out against West Ham, Louis youth revolution didn't last long.

Bit of a naff half. Always nice to see El Fitouri feature: gives me confidence that I can do anything I put my mind to.

Pereira stinking the place up tonight. He's been terrible.
I always feel like the attack suffers when Adnan is up top because he's normally a big help in the build up. I bet the entire attack would be much better with him slightly deeper.

The likes of Harrop, Willock and Mitchell are definitely missed going forward, Januzaj is getting given a lot to do to pick up balls up front and Pereira doesn't look up to much tonight.

Wish Riley could feature more in the first team.He has that energy and fighting spirit that every team needs.
