Planning to go to this, although it's likely to be subzero temperatures so I assume there is potential for postponing

No chance there is any under soil heating at Moss Lane !

Have you secured a ticket through Alty??

If not, your link doesn’t read like there will be much chance to get in

Yep - sold out a week ago but it's free so I bet people have tickets that won't get used due to the weather

Actually a strange decision to make it free as clearly big demand for this and would bring much needed funds for a non League club

They'll make it all on concessions.

The best bit of the Matchday info from Alty FC is this - shameful that Old Trafford just has crap like Madri & Carling when the tiny nonleaguers can offer the best of the local Manc breweries !

"Fan Zone – open from 6pm

Featured local breweries in the Fan Zone this midweek include favourite brews from the likes of Sureshot, Cloudwater, Pomona Island & Titanic."

Just missing Track, who are the best of all :)

I may have a spare ticket for this because my mate is a wimp and thinks it's going to be too cold - message if interested

Any ideas from our regular Academy watchers on who is likely to play tonight?

Perhaps it’s easier to say who’s not. At least Wheatley, Biancheri, Jack Fletcher, Lusale and Mantato are out.

My guess is something like this:

Graczyk

Ogunneye
Kingdon
Fredricson
Malacia

McAllister
Fitzgerald
Curley

Williams
Mather

Ennis

Subs: Mee, Amass/Rowe, Jackson, Moorhouse/Baumann, Missin/Sharpe, Musa

Obi-Martin could play but I doubt it, Koné will play if his injury isn’t too bad.

Don't supposed Yoro will get 45 minutes today ? His injury wasn't that serious compared to some of the others so you dont have to be careful with him the same way you have to with Shaw and Malacia

Alty’s shirt sponsor AO is covering the full cost.

Don’t think it’s a sellout technically, capacity is capped due to stewarding etc. Still be a bumper crowd though.

The FanZone is ace.

They’ve put TVs in there now so technically no need to leave it

Not sure but I think I read somewhere it’ll be around ~3500 for attendance? That would be wonderful for our young lads. Around 1k more than Alty’s last league game.

A few hospitality tickets still available for £40.

I have a ticket but can I be arsed leaving the pub when it comes down to it?

Will keep you all posted.

The U21s should play 3-4-3 as well so the youth players get used to the system they will have to play in the first team. We need a complete reset from top to bottom.

Disagree. These players need to be tactically flexible and able to play in not just one very specific system. Stuff like this is why a lot of people say football is becoming 'robotic'.

Youngsters at this level need to be able to problem solve themselves and not just have a pre-planned routine of what to do once they get the ball.
