U21: England vs Norway | Rashford hat-trick on U21 debut

Of course he doesn't get picked for England. Big Sam is no better than Roy ffs

Under 21s take better corners than the senior team:lol:

Biggest striker talent in the world bar none? It is not even hyperbole to claim that anymore, the kid is just that good.

I am perfectly happy to see my country take a full on spanking as long as the promised one, the messiah, shines

If Rashford wasn't a United player wed be offering 80m+ for him.

Ridiculous that il phenomeno mach II isn't chosen for the senior squad. He is already better than any other English striker. And yes, that includes sloppy-jaw Kane.

And Baker makes the 6-1

I'm really shocked about that result because that isn't England's best team and Norway have some good players in the team.
Me too, but evidently we have a terrible defense and can't score. Selnæs and Fossum were really disappointing in midfield.

Was Rashford the youngest in this English starting line up? Must be I think.

Good job from our under 21s! Think I'll just stick with watching the kids from now on.

Rashford being away from the senior England side may be a blessing in disguise. We all know what too much football too early did to Rooney.

England U21 are similar in a way to Italy at senior level, no matter who plays for them they will produce in qualifiers just like Italy does the same at big tournaments.

Anyone have a video of Rashfords second goal. Ive seen the first and third. Thanks.

Made him captain of club and country and also soon to be top scorer for both? yeah probably pull the plug on rasher now

Feck off Big Sam. Rash should never have been in that squad :(

At least it wasn't 7-1...

I like how rashford casually slipped into that interview it was the first ever penalty he has taken as a professional footballer.

You're being deliberately obtuse. You know full well I mean that the vast amount of football Rooney has played since turning pro at 16, has played, has most likely contributed to what would otherwise seem like an early decline in performance. I'm saying Rashford should be carefully managed, as the temptation would be to play him in everything, but that would be the easy thing to do.

anyone still waiting for rashford to "come down"? i didn't think this sort of form would continue as long as it has

Aye he's no Januzaj that's for sure.

If you look at his 'expected goals/assists' stats, you wouldn't expect him to sustain this level of goalscoring at all for a while. His conversion rate is really high at the minute.

Not that I think he will 'come down' drastically or anything, that's what the stats provide.
