U18s: West Ham vs United

Fitzgerald is away but it’s a brilliant tackle from the West Ham defender. Should’ve done more regardless.

Murdock gets himself in an uncomfortable position but manages to block the cross. Another effort after that from West Ham goes over the bar.

Thwaites converted and the WH young lad put it's wide.
Scanlon low driven penalty 2-0 but their no.9 pulls 1 back
Fitzgerald with a brilliant penalty in the top corner and WH score theirs.
Musa puts a poor penalty with a stuttered finish slow on the floor and in the middle and WH scored theirs.
Tyler Fletcher with a great penalty in the top corner and WH score in off the post.
Bradbury took an inordinate amount of step for the run up and blasted it over the bar but WH score so they go through to Semi's

United 4 - 5 West Ham

West Ham are through to the semis. Brilliant penalties apart from Musa and Bradbury.

Unecessary loss, it's a critique moment for U18 who could throw everything away in a matter of weeks. Very poor again without the star players.

We have lost our potency in attack; injuries seem to have hit us at the wrong time and only to the attacking players. But defensively we've also not been solid enough, too many gaps, leaves us too open.

At least Shea seems to be on his way back, hopefully get some momentum back.

Yeap, any team would struggle with Obi, Mantato, Ibragimov, Lacey, Biancheri, Lusale, J.Fletcher, Devaney etc. being unavailable.
