I agree on the general point. Refs get way too much abuse. I still think it was a stupid booking though.
 
Just love watching McAllister play. So determined, wears his heart on his sleeve and has a lot of good qualities.
 
Rueban Curley looked a cut above this level. I can only assume his minutes are being managed
 
The ref has booked (I think) 6 players today, at least half of them aren't usually bookings at this level.

I think it's fair to criticise him.
 
Considering we’re a man down we’re playing really well. Moving the ball from side to side and Forest look a bit lost. Big momentum shift.
 
Fletch, Ibragimov, Amass and co. next to our bench supporting their teammates.
 
As a crowd member points out you need to stay off for 30 seconds now if injured. Forest player comes back on immediately & nabs the ball back.
 
A lot of familiar faces watching on the sidelines. As the women’s team ends their session Geyse stops to see what the U18s football is all about.
 
Much better performance - but we are overplaying it outside our own box now

But bookings at this level usually requires homicides. I have never understood why the levels for bookings should be so much higher at this level
 
If only we crossed some of those low. We’re aiming at Baumann, Thwaites, Musa etc.
 
Kingdon has done really well in winning tackles and keeping the pressure up
 
2-1 Musa penalty - sends the goalie the wrong way. In the 91st minute :)
 
No-one at MUTV realised they've been playing sounds from Old Trafford for the last ten minutes or so? :D Really annoying

What a turnaround from such a young team. Will do wonders for their confidence.

Have to give a lot of credit to Thwaites - what he did before getting pulled down was really impressive
 
A lot of spirit in the 2nd half to get the goals and finish well on top despite the 10 men.

Despite coming off a while before the end I still think Curley was our best player today and McAllister after him
 
Brilliant second half performance. All of the 16s who came on did really well, especially considering they had been playing on the other pitch themselves.
 
What a terrific game!

McAllister is truly a gritty captain. Thwaites looks like a five-year-old baby.
