Must win game for the lads, these guys leak goals, but so have we.

Shame Mitchell's not on the bench again, but I must turn off pro evo and put this on now.

Daehli scores 1-0 have some of that.

Daehli scores!!!!!

Good play by Weir.

Daehli been very good so far. Getting on the ball and making things happen.

Yeah Daehli's been good, but there's not enough penetration in that final third.

Although its not helped with Bolton packing their players in the box.

Again excellent work by Daehli. Barmby should have connected.

I assume Mitchell and Harrop are the 2 standout players in the u16s. Do you know of any others who will be in the u18s fold next year?

Rothwell has been playing for the U17's and is someone who was playing for the U18's and impressing before injury problems.

Ionnau keeps floating between the 2 too.

Borthwick Jackson is supposed to be a good talent at LB. Rashford is another one who is supposed to be a pretty good talent but maybe too young for the U18's next year.

PS18, Mrmujac and others may be able to tell exactly who will step up next year though.

CBJ (Cameron Borthwick Jackson) is a tall strong lad who is apparently seen as good technically, although the only time I watched him play he struck me as the typical modern English brawn over brain youth player. He can play left back or centre half. Rashford and Mitchell are also regulars at England underage levels, I believe Rashford is a striker and Mitchell a tricky winger/forward.

I also believe, although I expect to be proved wrong very soon, that Harrop, Rothwell and Ioannou are already first years so are not eligible for the u16s any more, since they turn 18 next season I think. Another is Ashley Fletcher who I gather is a tall strong target man, again not sure if he is an u16 or u17 at this stage.

EDIT: Actually, thinking about it, not sure Rothwell isn't already 18?

So where would Harrop play, u17s?

Lovely play there, Byrne fluffed the volley.

Oooh Bryne hits the post and What a miss by Mcconell.

I know, all he needed to do was keep it down.

I don't like this Bolton team at all, their box should not be that congested.

Ah, Clough isn't playing today for Bolton through injury, remember him being very very good in the first match between the teams.

Is that the striker? He had a phenomenal game against us last time, looked to be a real talent.

Picture gone.

Our team seems to be playing below par at the moment final ball is often dire and finishing almost as bad. We have too many touches on the ball making it very easy for teams to pressure us. I think both our fb are not up to standard especially Davis.

It's either play it long to Bryne or give it to Daehli and he'll make something happen.

Barmby has stagnated since last year a bit.

In fairness both teams did have almost 2 months of pretty much no games over Xmas and January because of weather, think they still look a little sluggish.

And good near post header from Byrne, terrific save by the keeper

The last couple of games for both u18s and u21s have been a bit disappointing.

Is Pearson the one we signed from Exeter last year?

Again good play by Daehli. Bryne misses.

Should have left it for Weir.

Lovely little play by Daehli there, should have been a goal if Byrne left that.

Pereira on for Dalley. Should give Daehli more support.

No that is (Sean?) Goss. As far as I know Pearson has been at the club for several years. He even went on the tour of Malta with the seniors when he was 14.

And has he been playing for us?

OG, but good play from Byrne.

And yes you're right samabachan.

2-1 own goal we'll take that.
