So it seems we've signed a goalkeeper from Czech Republic. Fell under the radar. Not many signings this year as compared to previous years.
Seems like we rate him highly, he played in the Milk Cup for us last Summer & we sent Alan Fettis out to his club to do some goalkeeping coaching a couple of months agoSo it seems we've signed a goalkeeper from Czech Republic. I think he made a mistake in 1 of the early games in the tournament but to be fair to him he had only arrived back from playing in a tournament for Czech Republic in China & hadn't even been able to train with the team because flights were cancelled. He was very good in some of the later games in the Milk CupObviously the scouts/coaches know what they're doing, but wasn't overly impressed with him in the bits and bobs I saw of him at the MC last year.

Which other Czech keeper are you talking about? I must have missed itAs I said the scouts/coaches will know what they're doing, and Alan Fettis will have forgotten more about goalkeeping than i'll ever know, but he got(of those I saw)nearly every dive wrong, either diving too early, or far too late, though arriving last minute as you say wouldn't have helped with that, that's one hell of a flight to make.
Didn't see much of him with the ball at his feet, or catching crosses which may be the strongest part of his game.
Looking forward to seeing him, and hope he settles as quickly as Matej Kovar appeared to.
