Christ, I'm getting so annoyed at missing all these 6am (for me) kick-offs that I may have to set my alarm for this one.

MUTV, you should be able to be purchased over the internet! You're not for sale in America, WTF?! Do you guys realize how easy it would be to set up a feed online?

It seems they are doing this game on Saturday, instead of the U21's tomorrow.

Hopefully this is streamed though, as usually their are less streams for academy games on saturday.

Nah, just about every Saturday academy game has been streamed this season.

Yeah, i guess you are right. Most have except 3/4.

Last one wasn't against Reading for example. Hopefully, they telecast the U21 game too as Spurs usually do highlights from their youth games so camera's are there.

Today's team

Subs: Bryne, Joel Perriera, Fletcher, McConnell.

Any idea who McConnell is ?

Scrappy game after the initial 2 minutes.

This team needs a couple of filled out big lads. The group which won the Youth cup had Tunnicliffe, Blackett, Pogba and the likes.

Would love to see Mitchell play with these boys, just to get a glimpse of his supposed qualities.

Good chance for Harrop there after good play by Weir.

Very happy to see Dæhli back playing in central midfield again by the way. Need to get him involved as much as possible if we're gonna take control of this game.

Half time 1-1.

They've had most of the game so far tbh. We need to get Daehli and Perreira more involved somehow but we are too narrow and they keep hustling well.

Missed the first 3 minutes. Clever stuff from Barmby for our goal.

My stream sucked. Somebody sent another link.

Whenever Gollini and our defenders go long they get the ball. We need to play more tikki taaka with the players we have there.

They boys seems to have picked up the pace abit in the 2nd half, if they keep it going I think it's going to be too much for Soton to handle.

They have been the better team to be fair. United's passing has been very poor to say the least today.

Them two good chances before half time could come back to hurt us.

Dominating possession now. No clear cut chances.

Don't get the strategy of Gollini kicking aimlessly long every time.

Don Love's face is perpetually stuck in 15-year-old-kid-having-the-birds-and-the-bees-talk-with-his-mum mode.

Wow. Excellent hit by Bryne. Unlucky.

And Pearson should've scored that. Argh.

Barmby have been a class apart today.

1-1 now. Harrop equalises.

This pleases me very much. I made a Harrop thread in the newbies a year ago, I can only dream that he hits the heights that I expected so that I leave behind some form of legacy.

Btw what's the team? I'm on my way back home from the airport so hopefully I can catch a bit of the match.

Edit: Just realised this started at 11 so ill miss it but should have it recorded on the tivo, is the match worth watching?

Southampton score again.
3-2

Daehli is like Kagawa in the first team. Struggles to get involved when he's moved into the middle, but gets more space on the left.

He really needs to grow physically in the next year or so. Still got plenty of time, as both the Keane's grew late too.

That's the thing that worries me about Daehli, sometimes he plays great but then other times he struggles to impose himself on the game. I went to the fayc away to Chelsea last year and was raving about him to the people I went with, he had a poor make and they seemed to think I didn't know what I was talking about. Hopefully he proves me right and gain the consistency.

Ah game lost.

They just keep running through our middle.
