U18s: Manchester City vs. Manchester United

I think McKenna would be reasonably happy apart from the play in the final third. Boonen has looked off his game, we've struggled to get Burkhart on the ball and decision making in the final third hasn't been as good as previous weeks.

Sancho is outstanding though, most players would struggle against him.

He is a physical beast at this age group. I will be interested to see how he steps up. Reminds me Jordon Ibe.

Thought Boonen, Buffonge and Gomes look off form. Tanner really struggling. Chong looking the most effective for us so far.

We have switched Gomes and Buffonge

after we went down but you lose as much as you gain with that switch.....hope we sign a proper midfielder in january because the rest of the team looks pretty good even though we need to sort our defence as well but the situation there is nowhere near as bad as in midfield.

Burkhart hasn't really done well with the few times he has had it either. I think the team as a whole just needs to worry about giving the ball away cheaply in dangerous areas.

Gomes has done a good job of building up the attack with his passing.

Well Hamilton is missing and would have made a difference, he's been very good this season.

Interesting to see that Gomes and Buffonge has switched positions. Gomes not exactly the biggest player on the pitch, but think he has done well despite it not being his natural position.

We gave the ball away cheaply on some occasions. That's very dangerous on a fixture like this.

If fairness to him, city's keeper is giving him zero space in behind. We're going to need our midfield to step it up here as work some chances if we are to pull out a result.

What have we made of chong?

O'Connor is excellent, he has handled Gonzalez very easily so far. Even Sancho isn't getting change from him.

Chong has to work on his right-foot. He is so left-footed that City have no problem containing him. The best players can go both ways - Chong can't. So that is something he needs to work on.

brainless staff from Williams, this should be a yellow card which means a red for him. Very lucky....

Not really, the City player fouls him then gets in his face. Ref been v lenient with City, they have a number of persistent offenders.
Poveda lucky as well but grabbing the shirt around someone's neck is usually a stonewall yellow. Williams should know better

The commentator seems surprised that they have so many watching from home today. Someone should tell him that it's because MUTV isn't producing this one, and that's United supporters.

Our keeper was very aggressive in the afters, to be fair. That's why he received the red. He pulled his shirt by the collar and grabbed the back of his neck after that.

Well - no reason to complain about the result. City have been a few goals better than us unfortunately
