U18: United vs Sunderland

Are Buffonge and Boonen with their national teams?

Boonen is starting the game? Buffonge isn't an international, there's no u23 game for another week, so maybe he's injured.

 Sorry my friends, this jet-lag must be mental as well as physical. Apologies.

Moutha-Sebtaoui is away with Belgium I think.

Good to see Warren back which means we'll finally get to see O'Connor in his natural position.

Buffonge being rested after playing in a behind closed doors U23 match earlier this week.

my stream died, would appreciate a working link :)

edit: working now

Probably the worst 30 minutes I have seen from them all season - something lacklustre about the whole team. But this is a team we will beat if a few of the players get to their normal Level in the 2nd half.

Angel could’ve, and should’ve had a couple of goals already. And yeah, Bohui hasn’t impressed. Confident we’ll turn this around in the 2nd half.

Cheers. Yeh remember now.

He's switched sides with Boonen and we're better down the left already.
He reminds me of Zaha, his dribbling is good but seems like he'd prefer to try to dribble past an extra tackle rather than put in the final pass or shot and his passing is so sloppy

Ok performance so far but a level or two down from previous matches. I would bring Barlow on for the second half.

Like McKenna mentioned, it’s extremely valuable for the young players to experience different types of scenarios, such as coming back from international duty in this case (oka only Gomes this time). Sounds smart to try to prepare the players for whatever might come at ’em later in their careers.

Buffonge and Chong clearly missed. Struggling with their closing down also.

There is a guy (possibly the Sunderland-coach) who sounds like Arnold Schwarzenegger :)

It has looked like United under LvG - we have the ball most of the time, but we have just passed it around without really threatening Sunderland. And we have looked really vulnerable defensively every team Sunderland kick a long ball forward

Did he mention we need to get Gomes on the ball?
