Well we just drew with City, so..
As far as I know, we should have everyone available, except for Chong, who’s out for the season and probably Moutha-Sebtaoui. The U23 don’t have a match until the 10th, so Buffonge will probably be involved. Gribbin most likely not. Happy to have a proper defence playing again, we’ve been conceding way too many, and easy goals. Although we’ve been doing that with our ”1st choice” defence as well.

Not sure if Gomes is fit enough to play. We will probably play with the same XI (as vs. City) again, with maybe one of Hamilton, Barlow or Tanner out for O'Connor.
Considering he was fit to play half-a-game against both Pool & City, I’m guessing he is. But it is true that he pulled out of the England squad due to a ”minor injury”. Could’ve been an agreement between United and England, since they were expected to, and did, just fine without him. If it’s something more serious, it’s naturally better to sit out. Hope he’ll be fit for Dallas Cup as well

Yeah, noticed that. Hope he’s finally gotten his clearance, could be just travelling with the squad.
I know the selection criteria are somewhat different but the performances Chelsea (and City) are putting up in the FAYC suggest that you have a way to go before making that claim.
There are several lads in this group that Chelsea or City would absolutely love to have at their club.

The pass from Gomes to Bohui was superb.....
Put it this way: you are doing well if you get one future first team player from any group of u18s. City are calling this current group their 'golden generation', the best ever seen at City. This generation make up about 5 or 6 first team players in an excellent under 17 England team. However, the highest rated player and captain of that England side, as he has been through numerous age groups at international level, is United's Angel Gomes. If he fulfills his potential at United what City and Chelsea are doing in this age group at this point in time will be of little concern to United.

Great goal by Chelsea - but we can't back off like that. We did it in both situations

Tanner has had a poor game so far...
Their full backs are excellent. Showing ours up a bit. Could be the system though.

Yep, our movement is disappointing and theirs is very good.
Everything good we do comes through Gomes. He's fantastic.

Poor game from Whelan, Boonen and Bohui so far (and Tanner's delivery). Really need Buffonge to come on in the 2nd half.

I like Kenyon but he gave away too much penalties and red cards.
