U17s - Generation Adidas Cup (1-9 April)

Lost to LA Galaxy 1-0 yesterday & beat Charlotte FC 5-4 (1-1) on pens today.

Beat CF Montréal 4-3 with a late winner tonight.

Final game against New England Revolution tomorrow at 19:00 BST.

United 3-2 New England Revolution.

A disappointing week all in all but a valuable experience regardless.

I have a contact over in Tampa who went to all of the United games and sent me over some details.

Here are the statistics for the Group 2 matches:

Subs: 7. Biancheri (18) 'HT 12. Devaney 14. Thwaites 15. Mills 16. Bailey 17. Kaba 18. Oriola

Scorers: Not 100% but think Berry, Wheatley, Musa, Scanlon, Biancheri and Munro all scored and Fitzgerald missed our 7th.

Game 3

Manchester United 0 v Columbus Crew 1

Team: 1. Murdock 2. Kamason 3. Mantato 15. Mills 5. Munro 6. Fitzgerald 7. Biancheri 8. Berry (c) 9. Wheatley 10. Musa 12. Devaney

Subs: 4. Armer (15) 11. Scanlon (10) 14. Thwaites 15. Mills 16. Bailey 17. Kaba (7) 18. Oriola

Apparently Devaney got sent off for two yellow cards which were a little harsh.

Our Group finished:

1. Columbus Crew P3 W3 D0 L0 F6 A1 Pts 9
2. Manchester United P3 W1 D1 L1 F3 A2 Pts 4
3. DC United P3 W0 D1 L2 F1 A4 Pts 3
4. Vancouver Whitecaps. P3 W0 D1 L2 F1 A4 Pts 2

If we won the penalty shoot-out we would have got the extra point to take us through.

When he sends me details for the four 'showcase' matches I will post them.

Thank you, Mr. Park - much appreciated.

On the bolded part, are you sure about that? There were five second placed teams with ppm of over 2 and we'd been on 1.67 which is level with the other three second placed teams. What would it be that would've made us the best out of them?
