Tyler Fredricson

Had a brilliant game. Didn't look as if it was his first ever adult game. Hopefully the bad luck is behind him.

Probably at a point where he needs to play. Not to be a bummer, but it could make sense to give him a run of games and sell him this summer?

Likely to be behind Mazraoui, de Ligt, Yoro, Maguire and Heaven. And Martinez once fit. And if we well Maguire, we will likely replace him. (Hopefully we remove Shaw this summer.)

Interesting surname - have never seen this Fredricson before but google says is an american/anglo form of the Swedish Frederiksson

Loan him and see if he kicks on … some players take a huge leap in their ability season to season. Don’t sell and THEN find out he’s good… loan first and if still not sure, sell with a first buyback clause.

He with amass had a really impressive game. Loan or sell with buy back clause should be considered. Don’t remember him in a last ditch position in all game.

He's only 20.

If we loan him and he does well, his value could jump to 20m easy.

I'd prefer to play him next season though.

To maintain 3-4-3 over a full season with eurooean ball (assuming we win Europa) we'll probably need at least 6-9 cb options. To cover for rotation and injury. He is currently putting himself in the frame to be an option

Loan him? Have you seen how many injuries we get in defense?

Not ready, needs to bulk up....

Loan or sell to the Championship with a buy back...

Seems like the go to solution for all Utd's youth players.

I see no harm in keeping these guys for a couple of years as rotation or back up options to see if they can get better, would rather keep a youth player as an option than someone like fecking Lindelof.

I missed the game yesterday and haven't seen him play before, but on the proviso that he actually is good enough and Amorim remains in charge, there should be plenty of opportunity. We play a 3 CB system, have a history of injuries in that position and the manager makes an obligatory CB sub almost every match without fail. It's probably the position we're least likely to invest in this summer as well.

If you're a young defender who wants to break into a Premier League team at the moment, we're probably the one where they'd fancy their chances. You only have to look at how many minutes Lindelof has received recently to see that, and he (hopefully) won't be here next season.

Let's keep it real - yes he was impressive, but in fairness he had a quiet afternoon against a Wolves-team that offered very little. He needs to be tested a lot more than this. It's easier to give a verdict on Amass because he is there to create something and that you can do regardless of what the opposition does.

So in my mind Fredricson should be loaned out - because next season he will be up against De Ligt, Yoro, Heaven, Maguire, Martinez, Mazraoui, Shaw and probably a new signing.....much better that Fredricson goes to a club in League 1 or the Championship and proves that he can do it every week..
