He tries to be witty through song titles quite a lot though. He went through a song of the day period during the Terry racism trial, with songs like, "Liar Liar" being played
Exactly, he thinks he is being subtle.

Sooner he's gone the better

Seriously doubt that tweet has anything to do with Moyes.
I'd love to share your thoughts but with Rio's history on Twitter....I wouldn't put it past him. He seems to think he's being cryptic.

Doubt there's any subtle message there, he's just listening to a song, and then shared it over twitter through that app because he liked it and is probably promoting it a bit.

How can a football player who is so intelligent on the football pitch be so tactless and moronic off it? Really not doing himself justice here.

He has previous. And just looking at a tweet he made about three tweets ago; "biting like pitbulls" it's quite clear what his intentions are.

Yeah some of his previous ones are obviously winding people up on twitter. Really though, who cares. If he wants to feck with gullible people over social media, I really don't mind. He's just a footballer, not a political figure, doubt he cares too much what others think of him. Others will probably disagree but as long as they play normally on the pitch and don't cause loads of problems, they can do whatever they like in their spare time.

3 game ban for swearing on twitter? Tomorrow could be his last game for United.... If he were to be picked. The way the FA make their rules I wouldn't be surprised.

I would normally be inclined to agree but the fact he is a senior member who has been part of the squad for over 10 years means he should really be setting an example to the younger players, especially at a time like this. Even something as petulant as a few snide tweets will have influence, especially from a jovial character in the dressing room like Rio.

He's Captain Bullshit. He has a cape made entirely out of Tucker Max stories.

Every player we're linked with he says we're going to get him 100% and when one of those 10 happen, he brags about being right.

fecking hilarious people getting all worked up at Ferdinand tweeting music, thinking he is having subtle digs at Moyes.

I doubt Rio knows what fecking subtle even means.

Even if he was who gives a feck.

I'm done with Rio now. He's acting like a dick. I hope we don't resign him. Great defender on his day, but his attitude has been shit.

Wanting the best for the club is a shit attitude? Rio is a winner, he saw Moyes for what he was from day one, I hope he undermined him every step of the way, it was for the greater good.

There are plenty of ways to want the best for the club. Being a douche on a media-site is not the way to do it.

You may condone it, then fine that's your call.

Wanting the best for the club involved him having a disastrously bad season, which will be his last at the club?
Are you his fecking brother or something, because I can't see how a normal person could put a positive spin in Ferdinand this season.

Yay for Arsenal. He's been a top manager for them but everything about him just seems so.....tired. He looks drained all the time, it could be just deception of appearance but he does and his team still play like Disco Stu waiting for flares to come back into fashion again. A know a few Arsenal fans and most would be happy if he moved on/upstairs.

I'm sure he didn't play poorly on purpose. Injuries and age catch up with everyone.

Players tend to look worse under inept management, and considering this is the first time I've said anything about Ferdinand, I don't know why you think I'm trying to spin anything. He was used poorly, he knew the manager didn't have a fecking clue, and it's more than likely he was one of the players who told Moyes that to his face.

Whether he's here next season will be down to the new manager, not David Moyes and his merry band of feckwits, and for that I'm grateful to any of the players who played a part in getting him out of the club.

We really need to get Rio on a flight to the US as soon as possible. Players with that kind of attitude is the first ones we have to get out of the club, we need people who can fight to get this situation turned around, not players that will work as an instigator and antagonist.

Inept management or not, Rio is a liability now, certainly this season and arguably at times last season too. And you may love that he's been acting a dick, but I think it's hugely disrespectful, no matter who the manager is. He needs to shut up and focus on his actual game, otherwise I'd be happy to see the back of him.
