Will be interesting to see what role he plays for Belgium in the WC. I think he has more to offer than he showed last season.

Certainly. I just don't see the mentality to be an United player with him and he's been below par for his standars so far.

With Moyes around that was a possibility, but with Van Gaal no chance his style of football is the complete opposite of Fellaini. Total football possession based style can you realistically imagine him ordering our CB's to hoof the ball up the field to Fellaini?

In the last ten minutes of the match, would your really want to see our team continue to try and find a way through with quick passing when it hasn't worked for the past 80 minutes of the match? It'd drive me nuts. He's a good plan b to have around.

We and many other top clubs have managed to win games and championships for many years without a hoof ball specialist that cost £27M and who takes up a chunk of the wage bill.

Not for the money his earning we'd be better of selling him than just keeping him for that reason.

So I got excited to see 9 new pages since the last time I logged into this thread yesterday. Well its the same old bullshit rumors! :(

Also, James Ducker said a deal has been agreed in principal with Southampton.

And:

Just sign him already  it's not as if the new manager will decide whether to turn down 30m or not.

Sanchez, kroos,bastian,pogba,shaw,hummels... suddenly the gambit in me is rising.

Sanchez? Yes please! Gazzetta are not that reliable, right?

They are, they were right about pogba. They had juve interest about a month earlier. I think they maybe a juve mouth peice, i am not sure about them.

In terms of realistic targets with the quoted prices taken into account, Sanchez is the dream signing of the summer for me. Would be incredible value at €25 million.

So if we sign Sanchez, I'd assume we won't be in for Muller then? Either way, bring it on.

I would love Sanchez here, I was gutted we missed out on him last time. He's a class player but he doesn't really fit that well at Barca.

I can't see Müller happening. Despite him being LvG's love and footballing child, Bayern will never let them be together again.

Wasn't it reported this week that Bayern told us Muller won't be sold, so maybe that's why we turned to Sanchez.

Sanchez, Shaw would be a brilliant start to our signings.

Sanchez and Shaw would be a fabulous start to the summer :D

Hopefully it'll mean we never see Young again...

Young's gone regardless I'd be more excited because it would mean the end of Valencia starting on the right.

I can see Valencia being used as a wing back/ cover for Rafael.

I'd much rather Alexis over Müller anyway (if there is a choice)

Hopefully the Shaw deal gets done soon. Sanchez would be class but are Barca really trying to get rid? Why are people "embarrassed" about resigning Pogba? Embarrassing is spending 27 million on Fellaini. Embarrassing is appointing David Moyes. Embarrassing is not signing one of the worlds best young midfielders.

Barcelona are having a huge clear out. Sanchez, Fabregas, Song, Alves, Pedro are all expected to be sold.

The main 'embarrassment' is the fact he left on a free not long ago and it's clear something went on and he doesn't exactly have the right attitude. The BIG embarrassment is if we were to sign him knowing he will feck off in a couple more years again when he wants more money, or run his contract down and move for big money.
