Apparently, Pogba was in London the other day signing for Chelsea.

One Spanish outlet starts nonsense they all follow, in case there is truth in it.

Look at Metro and their sheet, they did get called out on it and looked stupid.

Honestly, a Sheik on a Saturday? Probably inundated with women, carefully selected for him.

Yeah it's yesterday's news.

No clue what it says, but this was pointed out by jo

There's no way they know that. He's a regular visitor to Madrid and he's also someone who Perez has been filmed with several times this year. They're supposed to have a "non-aggression" pact over each others players. It could be about Di Maria (assuming he's there), it could be about Verratti - it could be about a lot of things.

Let us wait for a confirmation before a meltdown.

I want to personally congratulate Southampton for signing the new Afonso Alves, Graziano Pellé!

How does the non-EU player rule work in Ligue 1? Who would have to be registered/sold to comply to that?

Is Draxler even a winger? His said more than once he see's himself as a no.10 and he already said he'll stay at Schalke another season to develop.

Like most wide players nowadays he wants to play centrally, but he has been better wide, which is why he gets picked there. His season was underwhelming by his own high standards for a 20 year old and it's probably best if he stays with Schalke, still in my eyes he will be the better player than those other two.

Griezmann has been a better player for the past 2 years and he is cheaper

IMO not all. From what I've seen from Griezmann he isn't as good as Draxler in terms of working against the oppostion when they've got the ball. Both are intelligent players by the looks of it, but Draxler's workrate edges it. Whoever we bring in will be anything but cheap as it seems.

Draxler isn't a winger. We need some direct pace and dribbling threats outwide, someone like di Maria as we have too many in the similar mould of Draxler to play on the wings; (Januzaj, Kagawa, Mata) and not enough talented pacey wide outlets.

They're allowed 4 & only have 3 in Thiago Silva, Maxwell & Lucas iirc. Marquinhos & David Luiz both have EU citizenship and the others will have gained it from Italy I think.

What about Cavani?

Abc?

Di Maria is currently earning €3M per year He is asking for €6M per year. He has offers from Monaco, PSG and MUFC. [abc]

It's possible PSG might be planning to sell some of their stars to balance things out right?

they'll just sign a sponsorship deal with themselves through a dummy company for a gazillion quid and fix FFP that way... or they'll do it through dodgy sales for bizarre sums of money.

FFP is meaningless and with Platini in charge, they were probably given a note in the back pocket on how to circumvent it when they were fined the last time round.

What about Cavani?

Not sure actually, was in Italy for 6 years though so I think he might be elegible due to that.

edit: Yeah he's classed as EU because of his time there, same as Pastore & Lavezzi.

Children's playground. Reliable source IMO.

Probably in the minority here but I'm not keen on Di Maria. Would much rather Reus or Sanchez although that ship has sailed. :(

Anyone of them will do to be honest

I agree but won't complain if he does come.

Reus is excellent alright - he was on my wishlist for the summer window way back during the year, then i heard about the Barca rumours he was goin there, so i held hopes then for Sanchez. Feck that anyway!

Reus would be perfect for United, but so would Di Maria too. He's a Giggsy type of player & we love that wing-play.

Some on here are saying we shouldnt be so transfixed on wingers with this modern game, but thats the type of player that has got us up off our seats & all our lives watching United.

We should always strive to entertain with wingers flying down the wing - just like the original United winger "Snake-hips" Eddie Colman RIP..

Graziano Pellé was the definition of a bidone in Serie A. Couldn't get a minute on field with Parma. Let's see how Prem takes to him

Multiple Spanish outlets now reporting PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi in Madrid to finalise signing of Real Madrid's Angel di Maria.

I won't lie, i did actually think there was a great chance we would get him, i should of learnt my lesson by now.

This story is a lie, he said the Cope but everyone else say the Cadena Ser. And neither of this Radios have reported it on their website.

Strange that everyone believes that Di Maria is going to PSG after one anonymous tweet but don't believe lots of hints that Vidal may be coming to United, maybe neither or both will happen but it's like a Caf anxiety attack
Its not strange at all when you look at the amount of players we have missed out on in recent years, especially the high profile players.
Plus if Barca, Real, or the sugar daddy clubs come calling then we will almost always lose out.

Had this discussion many times but just staying calm, confident we will be OK and get what we need. The sugar daddy club is coming to an end quite soon

Vidal to United is picking up pace in Chile, Radio stations are also reporting the news.
