This photo isn't on the official site.

Secondly, the club says this "
The final squad will not be confirmed until Friday 18 July when the Reds fly to the States. A number of the club’s youngsters may also join the group, while announcements will be made at a later date regarding the involvement of those players who reached the latter stages of the World Cup."

Maybe not then, looked like an official photo.

Team also makes sense with no Januzaj etc. in the squad for the tour.

Januzaj was with Belgium beyond group stages. None of those that were there in the WC beyond that have been named.

"Manchester United had the option on his contract to do that. Italian press said Manchester United wanted €5m but Juve wanted to pay less."

Woody's such a terrible negotiator.

Woody: We want €5m for Evra.
Juve: We're gonna pay you €2m.
Woody: Oh, okay.

Better, since it probably helps smooth over taking Vidal off them!

A terrible negotiator? See the new kit deal. I do know what you mean though but it's not just Woody. We never got good value on players out the door under Gill either.

In what sense?

If they report rumours, they report it as a rumour probably only with one source.. If they report, done deals, it's done and not checked with only one source, as they live from their credibility.

How is the opposing party wanting to pay less "terrible negotiation" on Woodward's part? Has Evra left? No. So are we holding out for €5m? Most likely? So I fail to see your reasoning.

People still sticking to the age old - "Woody's such a bad dealmaker" - joke. Get over it. We've signed Herrera from a club that almost never sells abroad and we've got Luke Shaw (whose price is inflated simply because he's English). Most people on here will agree that those are two very good pieces of business.

And Finally, Woodward managed to get us a $657m deal for our kit sponsorship! I think that's pretty darn good proof that's he's not "terrible".
