No I get that, I like accounts like these, Sports Witness for example. I'm just curious to see whether they are legit or not. A lot of people just put [MARCA] [Times] etc at the end of tweets to make their tweets look more credible.
I don't think they were cry babies, they just feared the worst. Considering last year, why shouldn't they?

How are these players agreeing personal deals with the potential new club? Don't you need permission from the present club to talk to the player?
Buying for the sake of buying. I don't even think they need Kroos when Modric and Alonso are capable of dictating play to great effect anyway. Gustavo would be a good signing from a defensive perspective with Alonso on the wane and Khedira struggling following a long-term injury, as well as his future up in the air.
That would be the biggest worry. We already have three centre backs who have suffered an inordinate amount of injuries over the years, so to bring in a player who is even more of a crock whilst not that great would be a big gamble. I think we should target an experienced defender in his prime, seeing as all our three are a long way off theirs or still approaching it and perhaps Vermaelen meets LVG's criteria. I expect him to be quite meticulous with his transfer business, because the team is the most important in the end and we can't afford to make mistakes in the market this off-season.
He's certainly played within himself with the Dutch set-up and he knows the weaknesses in the team, so he's ensured it doesn't get exposed. For all the talk of him playing one way prior to the tournament, it's good to see he's very adaptable even if it goes against his principles; winning is the number one priority. With our potential squad however, he will be able to express his philosophy more and be more attack-minded which he's associated for at Ajax, Barca, etc.
You'd be very naïve to think clubs don't sort out these details with the player in advance. They're not supposed to but they obviously do. We do exactly the same as well. After all, Moyes spent a lot of last season telling us he had been speaking to loads of top class players who were dying to come here. That's tapping up too, isn't it?
