Pointless ban. 4 months, 2 of which are pre season anyway, what a waste of time.

Sponsor Adidas on Suarez: "We will discuss all aspects of our future partnership directly with Suarez and his team following the World Cup”

This takes the cake... They'd be really stupid and thick if they're even considering this

El Pais are working out what sanctions Uruguay would face if they pulled out of World Cup. Honestly.

Banned till 1st November. Misses 9 league games, 3/4 CL games, Domestic cup games and any international friendly's. So probably near 20 games banned before you add on his international competitive ban as well.

Ah it's not that bad. 9 Prem games, 3 CL games, 2 League cup games, he can't train until end of October. And then he also misses the rest of the World Cup, all friendlies until November and the Copa America

I assumed it would just be international so anything else seems like a bonus.

One of the ITK types said Shaw deal should be done tomorrow. I'll wait until Ducker/Ogden etc say anything more though.
Ive also heard and seen similar things and the idea being a double announcement tomorrow. Pinch of salt n all.

Edit: Sid got it covered.

Well, I've got just the slightest, tinyest hint that this will be announced tonight.

Just a little hunch.

I read that even if Uruguay appeal, he still wont be able to play against Columbia.

Appeals will all be fruitless in the end anyway. He's toast.

How are 9 PL games, 3 CL games and at least one LC game pointless? Furthermore, he won't be able to train with his teammates meaning he won't be close to being fit when the four months are over.
