Steve Bruce admits he is mystified by reports linking Lee Cattermole with Liverpool.
Speculation earlier this summer suggested 23-year-old Black Cats midfielder Cattermole could be a target for the Reds, who have since signed his team-mate Jordan Henderson.
And claims that recent arrival John O'Shea may be handed Cattermole's captain's armband have sparked fresh talk of a departure.
However, Bruce told The Journal: "I don't know where that has come from. It's news to me.
"I have not even thought about this situation, to be honest. I have had bigger things on my plate to worry about.
"We have been dealing with Liverpool for the past five weeks over the Jordan Henderson deal and there was never a mention that they wanted Lee.
"I don't know where it's coming from at all."
Probably originated from F365.
F365
Sounds like bull.
Probably originated from F365.
Or you.
Nah they`ve only two central midfielders on the bench........that isn`t enough cover for a whole season!!!!!!!!I can't see Liverpool needing Cattermole when they've got Spearing to fill the gimpish looking young ish English defensive mid who isn't first XI quality role

He doesn't. Just now he is tweeting the quotes from Sneijder's dad which are made up on a ManUtdCommunity.
I meant he usually confirms many stories some hours before some of the official sources. Anyway guess those quotes are fake then.
Speriamo in Dio”.
MILAN, July 18 - Assurances of Marco Branca, compliments of Mr. Gasperini and the denials of the facade of Scotland Alex Ferguson had reassured the Inter fans, and temporarily shut down the dreams of glory of the curve of the United. But the fate of Wesley Sneijder is still uncertain.
The father of the talented Dutch, spoke to Sky Sports, has confirmed the strong interest from Manchester United for Inter director: "Manchester United have offered my son a million dollar contract for five years. Wesley loves Milan and Inter, but the proposal of the leaders of the Red Devils is really interesting from an economic standpoint. In the coming days will decide the future together. "
Words that freeze the back of the president Moratti that despite the bridges of gold promised by Ferguson has no intention to deprive himself of his ace.
In addition to Sneijder, Inter could lose in the next few days Esteban Cambiasso. The Argentine midfielder was close to Galatasaray. The negotiations took off last week, as confirmed by the statements made by the turkish club vice president: "We are now to close the deal details for Cambiasso, specifically asked by our coach Terim. Cuchu to have offered a million dollar contract for 5 years. We hope in God. "
The many miles of triumphs in recent years and the age of the coach in the field could push the Inter Branca sacrifice. The proceeds would be reinvested to generate cash and sign the agreement with Genoa for the Slovakian midfielder Kucka.

Is his name in the op?
That's the way to check in the future isn't it.
We live in hope.....wr8 has no time for checking lists, he could miss valuable Tweets!

Actually I'm going to just say that this Fourth Official is just brilliant, gets most of the transfers right. Even got the Downing's jersey no. right.
I'm considering removing McGarry from my "Esteemed List". Sprouts a great amount of bullshit.
SSN: Guardiola says that Arsenal is in negotiations with Barca.
Steve Bartram says Oliver Gill turned down a contract with United to go to University.
Joel Campbell's move to Arsenal has fallen through and we're supposedly interested in him. Can't see us going after yet another striker though.

I think it was probably a mark of respect, all parties involved knew he wasn't good enough to play professionally at a respectable level and he's obviously from a good family. Offer him a contract knowing he'll turn it down and he'll always be able to say he decided against continuing in football and not that he got cast aside. He'll probably be working at the club in some capacity in a few years.
