If we signed Sneijder and Nasri our attack is leagues ahead of anyone elses outside of Barca and Madrid. In fairness, you can make that argument already, but this would seal it.

We're not signing both!!

Watch out for news on Sami Nasri and Manchester United #MUFC from @philmcnulty in the next few minutes

@philmcnulty
Man Utd have indeed made that £20m bid for Samir Nasri - and it sits there awaiting the outcome of talks between player & Wenger. #fb

Shocking.

When these "people" have actually got something to report, they don't hold off. They don't "update" in a few minutes, or at 5pm. They strive to be the first to report it so they can claim "you heard it first here!!!!"

Actually Sky did break the Phil Jones story like this only.

Man Utd ready to be patient on Nasri. No rush to do before summer tours. Arsenal waiting on Nasri-Wenger talks before responding to bid.

On Nasri, Arsenal obviously happy to cultivate an auction, real or otherwise. Utd confident £20m will be enough.

@ManUtdStuff is the shizz. Delivers all the recent important United news straight to my phone.

FreddieBoswell has said that we bidded 30M for Sneijder last week.

It was claimed on talksport by the (former) NOTW reporter Ashton that Arsenal will offer Nasri an extra 10k or 20k a week.

Excellent, then he can be earning more, but still winning nothing. The lad has stated his ambitions and it's clear that winning something at Arsenal is not that easy. Some players wait too long to make the right decision, I think Nasri is wise enough.

Nasri to stay at Arsenal and see out his contract for the next 11 months we are hearing #afc #mufc #cfc

 That'd piss on Arsenal's chips if we signed him for free next season. I'd be happy with that, after all we could agree the deal in Jan.

Copy tweets from only those which are given in the OP mate. This wikitransfers guy is a known bullshitter.

We'd officially have to wait til June wouldn't we? The agreeing a different deal in the last 6 months with your next team only applies to clubs in a different country I think.

Gentlemans handshake probably.

I think if he will be available for a free next year 1 of Real, Barca might just snare him from under our noses..

Was just sharing my opinion on it mate, wasn't implying it was fact :)

Ah. You could be right there, just had a look into it and found two different things with clubs signing out of contract players from the same country. One stated a player could sign a pre-contract 3 months before his contract was up the other stated a player must be released / out of contract before another club can sign him. Now I've never heard of this 3 month rule so i'm skeptical about it, but i'm certain players in the premiership have been able to sign pre-contracts at other clubs before the transfer window opens.

@AkramBadri: Dello Sport Journalist: " Inter Accept Manchester United's 38m to Sneijder , £200k a week, and expected a deal Done next Monday .."

Not sure if this is a legit jounro.

That's with their current club's permission.

The last 6 months of the contract allows discussions without the parent clubs say.
