If the rumours are to be believed, it must be us signing Strootman tomorrow, as he is supposed to be in UK for the last couple of days.
Did these rumours start with Indyliar or is there anyone else?

See, I would've been happy with Strootman until Thiago came along and started making me cream myself. Now my standards are too high.
Common consensus seems to be that it's Strootman. Caught offside have called it a "Done Deal", but when you click on the article it says deal is "all but done". So not done then.

The Ronaldo thing isn't related I dont think. The Ronaldo news was that he's held 'positive talks' with Madrid.

He says they are working on an exclusive. Exciting enough to get his heart rate going. Doesn't say what it is. Just the follow up about it being 95% sure and being confirmed in the next 48 hours.

Oh, that was nothing to do with Bailey's tweet. It's just that Ronaldo to United is something I've heard, like a billion times, by nobody credible whatsoever.
For what it's worth, one of the other Sky journos said something earlier about hoping to get an exclusive with Thiago off his colleague that was in Isreal.
The way he's hyping it I don't think Thiago or Strootman are a big enough deal to warrant it.
And is probably true ... if only because, having failed to get Hiddink or AVB, they're running out of options.
