Fresh speculation this afternoon about #MUFC poised to make £35m bid for Modric - but crucially, still nothing in the way of facts!!

Plenty of people on Twitter including this guy said it was a rouse by the Udinese chief to bump up the current bids.

The whole thing is :boring:, I wish Sanchez / Udinese will just be done with it and let us buy someone we actually need in a position we're lacking.

That ITK99 at it again. He said the same thing about Phil Jones not going to United. After Jones did join he then spent the next week saying how sometimes we all get things wrong.

Well it's not like it doesn't make sense for us to be disinterested, considering how well stocked we are on the wings. I wouldn't be too quick to believe everything Udinese say either, it's quite clear they want a bidding war, telling the truth isn't necessarily in their best interests.
 
Sanchez is not just a winger, and when there is a player that good you don't just ignore the chance to get him.

When I was young you find out if we had some new players on the first game of the season. What was wrong with that?

To be fair, Italian clubs do this all the time. Especially Udinese and Palermo. A confirmation from Udinese isn't reeeeally a confirmation.
