TV series that last too long

This season of House has been good, last was poor bar 3-4 episodes.

Am struggling to see how much more character development they can milk out the main protagonists now. Next season should be the last for sure.
 
Days of our lives has been going on since 1965. They have made more than 11000 episodes and it's beyond shite.
