I do. No need for entertaining the idea of selling our future potential stars. We don't need the money.

Unfortunately, as I've said in other threads, I feel there is most likely some sort of 'buying clause' inserted for Dortmund. I just don't see how this deal makes any sense for any party. If we wanted him to go out and get game-time, then we would hardly have sent him to a very in-form Dortmund side with a wealth of attacking options. The deal is so odd that the only logic I can see is a loan-to-buy deal of some sort. I hope it isn't, but I would be surprised if he comes back and plays under LvG.

I personally don't think so. He's very highly regarded at United. We gave him the number 11. The wording of our statement also mentions it being a year's loan. If I'm wrong then I'll think LvG has lost his marbles.

Could it be worth a 25m bid for Berahino? Personally I don't want him but there must be some fans that would be keen and see it as value for money.

Don't watch PSG but isn't Marquinhos a backup there?

This is why I'm against giving manager's 100% control, quite simply.

With Ferguson, he was always here long term and was going to be the one to suffer or gain from his decisions. Van Gaal could well be gone at the end of his contract or even sooner, in which case his successor has been robbed of one of the top young talents in world football because Louis wasn't a fan.

The club needs to exercise a degree of common sense when it comes to making certain decisions. Take this De Gea situation for example. Let's assume for a second that it's true that Van Gaal did block De Gea's contract extension last summer because he wasn't sure of him. They should 100% be ignoring that request and extending his contract anyway. It's fecked the club over football wise and in terms of our finances.
Good points.

That's just my take on it. I just think the whole deal makes very little sense. Fwiw, I hope I'm wrong. After working hard to develop him for years now, it would be an absolutely crazy decision to get rid at the age of 20.

Just for those who haven't yet seen the breakdown of the Martial add-ons...

€5 million each time Martial is the top scorer in the Premier League, to a maximum of € 15 million.
Another € 5 million will be due if Martial wins Golden Boy.
The final € 10m will be paid if Martial won the Balon D'or career in Manchester.

Basically if we pay the full fee he'll be the best player on the planet.

Where's that from?

Wasn't asking you lol. Was thinking by typing. I think januzaj is seen as a CF tbh. They gave him #9 after all.

Oh, that's fine. Got asked the same question three times. But yeah, think they'll make the Januzaj move permanent, next year.

Interesting. In which article is this? I haven't been able to follow too much!
