Its been De Gea week since the first week of summer acc to the Spanish press. Would be extremely shit to sell him now after taking a hard "no Ramos-no de Gea" stance for most of the window.
 
Would be shocked if we go for Gaitan over Pedro.. Especially when we can sign Pedro for the 21-22mill pounds!

They clearly have mistaken our fans with Real's. We can't sell him now or we would in huge trouble, we don't have much at CB so we need a top keeper to cover that alone, and the two back ups are nowhere near good enough.

Then after all the noise with Otamendi and Ramos,finally they are not going to buy a CB?.The GK can be wonderful but he can't make miracles if the defense is not good enough.I can't believe that Ramos was the only option.In my opinion they should have been quicker in the market since the PL starts so early

It certainly looks like it was Ramos or nothing, I'm not even sure were interested in Otamendi. LvG is the most demanding manager we've had regarding the exact requirements he has for players in certain positions. In fairness De Gea pulled off miracles on a regular basis last season with an ever changing cast of CB's in front of him.
 
Hayley McQueen is just responding to the rumour like every other fan. She is saying it in a sort of cocktease way but more in relation to how amazing that signing would be rather than in an ITK way. She is clealy clueless to the fact that with the tools on twitter, being somebody who works for Sky Sports, a tweet like that (which clearly is suggesting nothing) will be greeted by utterly desperate teenage twitter United fans thinking it could mean something..

I hate the transfer market. How a tweet like that gets so much attention just shows how tragic some Football fans are at this time of year.
