Not the Cavani rumours again.

He'd be too much of a risk for too much money, may aswell have kept Falcao over him.

not quite sure why Cavani gets so much hate. Muller, Benzema aren't realistic, Kane is hardly proven, and the likes of Benteke isn't as good. he can challenge Rooney, and can play wide if need be (obviously he doesn't like to, but it's at least an option, unlike what Kane or Benteke could offer). he may cost a bit but we clearly don't care about that.

I think we might buy Oblak, let Valdes leave and keep De Gea for a year. That way we have two keepers this year, have a ready-made replacement next year and only have to worry about a back-up as opposed to a first-teamer (providing Lindegaard leaves).

Think we'll have to contend with the ADM rumours until the end of the window. All the public statements for ADM are very emphatic and that he wants to stay, and even if there was a hint of doubt creeping in, the business we've conducted so far should put that doubt to bed straight away.

I'd rather we kept DDG for a year, and spend the next season actively scouting the big leagues for any potential replacement around the same age profile. Leno would be best in terms of low cost and ability to be here for upwards of a decade or more. Think if we bought Oblak in and kept DDG, we'd be having an issue in ensuring he gets the requisite game time for his progression as a player...

Imagine that - you've been poor for Spurs and you are in a danger of going to Watford, a team that get relegated each time they come up from the lower division, then at the final minute, when you're just about to sign a contract, you receive contact from Paris.

We could always loan Oblak back for a season if game time was an issue.

Best. Picture. Ever.

I am just guessing here but I have a feeling we already have scouted replacements.
