Yeah makes no sense to me. Surely the compensation won't be that much if they meant that? Someone at Sky has either fecked up, or Ings signed a surprise extension quietly.

Bullshit. We do not need to sell Valencia to raise funds for Otamendi or Alves. And we would not get a lot for Valencia so the whole construction is crap.

If we got rid of Valencia, we'd need to buy another right back. Absolute nonsense that we need to sell him to fund anything, as we'd need to replace him.
We should be looking to bring in a superior right back but as an option it makes much more sense to keep him around.
The fee seems closer to realistic than the crazy numbers touted in the last few seasons for Gaitan.. He has gone under the radar and isnt as hyped up as he was 2-3 seasons ago. Signing makea sense if we are selling Nani, and loaning out Adnan..

From my poor translation skills, think superdeporte are reporting that Gaitan to Valencia is off and that he's heading to MUFC.
Lot of the portuguese press reporting the Gaitan to United story.. Looks like they've all been briefed either by Mendes or Benfica about the transfer.. They all seem to be going with the €30M sum and that the transfer is almost done
