And the players currently here are good enough? It's better to replace proven shite with players who may have some mental resilience to be able to run a little.
Bernardeschi would be better than Martial, easily.
Tarkowski would be better than having Bailly in the treatment room.
Grillitsch would be better than having no proper DM after losing Matic on a free.
Dembele and Dybala may be risky, but it's why a club like United should have people to look at them closely to assess whether they would be another Di Maria or Sanchez - I don't think United plan that far ahead unfortunately.
Yes they have, but we should have been in their ear a year ago, but my guess is they had already signed for other clubs before we even spoke to their agents.
Again, my point is that we can't be targeting a 70-80m player while only having 120m to spend when we've already lost 4 first team players from an already shite squad.
You improve by buying a CB better than Maguire or Lindelof for example and pushing them down the pecking order, not by replacing mediocre squad players with other mediocre squad players. Honestly half those you mentioned are Leicester or Wolves level at best.
Where would Dybala fit in to this team exactly? Does it not worry you that his form has dipped over the past few years to the point that Juve are prepared to let him go on a free and none of the other top clubs in Europe seem to want him?
You talk about Bailly being on the treatment table, and then suggest spunking millions in wages and signing on fees on Ousmane Dembele. That makes zero sense.
