You jest, but I think he would start over McT and Fred.
Possibly over McTominay, but zero chance over Fred especially as a more advanced central mid. Winks is a tidy player, but nothing more. Fred is the superior player.
How the feck you going to sell that lot for 100m+? This won’t happen even in FM.
45 million is more realistic (excluding Martial, who no one will go near unless a rich club hires Bielsa)
It sounds a bit steep - but then again, I never expected anyone to offer £13m for Pereira. And for a club like Fulham or Nottingham - players like Martial, AWB, Williams, Jones or Bailly will improve their side a lot. If Nottingham spent £60 million on Martial, AWB, Bailly and Williams (assuming they lose Spence) - they would probably survive

I think we will get any 6 from those 11 options and we’ll be back in the winter window to get others, It’s clear next year we are looking at an Elite CFw and CDM probably like P Shick and D Rice. FDJ maybe next year instead of Rice but not this year, I highly doubt that’s happening. I could see Danny Ings being ETH type player that’s a little left field and relative cheap plus he knows PL, works hard for the team. We will promote, A Garnaucho, Z Iqbal, J Garner and maybe A Tuanzebe so for me I see a squad more like this for the start of the season;

Martinez is younger and their player of the season. There’s also a premium on CBs of his nature as they are harder to find.
It’s hardly much difference when you factor in Arsenal bid before us and were quoted the same.
Their topscorer is 28 years old and not wanted in the P.L after a disastreous spell at West Ham
Martinez is 24 and wanted by 2 clubs in the P.L
As for your other statements - Ajax sold 2 player for a lot more a few years ago - and regularly sell players for £30-35 million - you make it sound like Martinez cost a lot more than £35 million

Why are no lower prem team taking an interest in Bailly or Williams? They'd do well.

I get the value, what I don’t get is a 5’7/8 CB in the PL he must be being bought as a CDM or Deep lying playmaker as his passing is exceptional I just can’t see this guy marking E Haland, H Kane, C Ronaldo(Chelsea) let that sink in , I Toney, P Bamford, Nuno, O Watkins, C Wilson, C Wood, J Vardy, R Jimenez, D Wellbeck, A Mitrovic, DCL, M Antonio, C Benteke, C Adams, D Solanki.
My point the PL has the most physical CFW’s around and more goals are scored in open play from headed goals this is without the added set piece problem of a Lewis Dunk/VVD, or other Huge CBs. I’m calling it now if he’s a CB he’ll fail, how do we know because D Blind was a better bigger version of him who got done for pace and strength at CB and had to play CDM or Left back in the PL and cost £15M plus Pep tried this and soon realised he needed fast, strong, ball playing 6’1-6’3 CBs to Win the PL !

Weren’t Blind and Donny also? I loved Blind but he cost peanuts? This guy is not much better than what we got back then.
Plus at least in the case of Bailly there are massive question marks about his injury record. Really like him as a player but for that reason he can't be relied upon

Whatever he does you’ve decided in your own mind he won’t be able to play in the PL.
I would argue that Smalling at his peak probably would have been worth €50m in today's market, as is Martinez.
I believe Martinez would make a very good CDM.. Not sure ETH will play him in midfield though.
ETH has already said Martinez does not make a good midfielder.
He already has, and that was in the Dutch league, didn't go brilliantly. He might play there in emergency situations, but I don't believe he can do it successfully in the PL.
And you an expert for modern day footballers fee? The club makes enough money to pay this why would it matter to anyone how much we pay for a player we want? It’s like we stealing for the kid piggy bank to fund these transfers
