Official: Wilfried Zaha joins Charlotte on loan from Galatasaray until next January with an option to extend the loan by 6 more months

The loan contract of our professional footballer Dazet Wilfried Armel Zaha with Olympique Lyonnais SASU has been mutually terminated and an agreement has been reached with Major League Soccer, L.L.C. for the temporary transfer of the footballer to Charlotte FC until 17 January 2026.

According to this agreement:

* Charlotte FC will pay a loan fee of USD 2.800.000 to our club.
* The footballer has waived the net 2.376.000 EUR portion of his wages.
* In the event that the player plays 15 MLS regular season matches with Charlotte FC or gives written notice by 15 December 2025, the rental period will be extended until 30 June 2026.

In case of extension of the rental period;

* Charlotte FC will pay an additional fee of USD 1.300.000 to our club for the loan.
* The player will waive the net 800.000 EUR portion of his wages.

In addition, depending on the player's performance in the 2025 MLS Regular Season, Charlotte FC will pay performance bonuses to our club in the maximum amount of USD 1.100.000.

If the lease period is extended, Charlotte FC will pay a maximum performance bonus of USD 150.000 to our club depending on the player's performance in the 2026 MLS Regular Season.
