Or maybe there is a reason no-one outside Ligue 1 are interested in signing him?
People tend to say this every time a player moves to a club that isn't big as if it's proof the player isn't good, then often the player ends up moving for 3-4 times the price in the near future. Pretty sure people were saying the same when Brighton went for Caicedo.

To me the fact that both Brighton and United were after him shows that he was very highly rated. Many posters wanted us to sign him. Not saying Le Fée couldn't have high potential but to me it's just a bit weird that when Rennes seems to be the best he can get at the moment, a poster says that all big clubs are missing a trick here. Like they know better than everyone, including the ones inside the industry.

After only one season, the story between Hugo Ekitike and Paris Saint-Germain could already be over. According to our information, the club is open to a departure and has explained this to those around him.

Tier 1:

The Girona board wants to reinforce the defence with a veteran player and among the candidates, two names are gaining strength: Daley Blind and Marc Bartra (the latter advanced by Ràdio Girona Esports).

Source of the Marc Bartra news (Tier 2):

Girona FC wants to incorporate Trabzonspor centre back MARC BARTRA, who sees the project in the Girona club with very good eyes and WANTS to return home. [Contract] Termination [is an] option.

The centre back adapts perfectly to Míchel's idea.

Some players seem to want to stay in there own league, we see that here too. I was shocked npbpdy went in for Giouri last season and he seems to have had another solid season

£25m odd giving them most of ther emoney back, seems a good deal , has a lot of talent and hardly got a chance this season by looks of it

Sometimes they're right. It might not be that the scouts' judgement is poor, but an argument could definitely be made that the people who make the decision whether or not to go for talented young or unknown players are very consistently proven wrong whether that be the manager or others within the club. It's normally because they don't want to take the risk. Kvaratskelia went to Napoli for peanuts and now he's one of the best players in the world. Kante moved to Leicester without any real competition from big clubs. There are plenty of other examples but those are 2 off the top of my head.

Bruno Guimaraes being allowed to go to Newcastle unopposed despite being absolutely brilliant before they signed him is another one.

Yes, big clubs don’t and can’t sign every talented player.

Then what was the point of your original post? What you've said here suggests it would be very natural and normal for top clubs to not be interested in many talented players and that doesn't mean that they wouldn't be good signings.

The point, as mentioned, was that very rarely a poster on a discussion forum knows more or better than scouts and directors of all big football clubs.

EXCL: Real Madrid have reached an agreement with Borussia Dortmund to sign Jude Bellingham. Fee in excess of €100m - among biggest deals in both clubs’ histories. 19yo set to have medical in coming days before completing move

Tier 1:

In depth: Cavani's future is in the balance

The club has sounded out the market for sale possibilities, it is the priority.

An agreed exit is not ruled out.

Striker wanted

Cavani will have a say in his future but won't necessarily stop the club from moving him on.

Tier 1:

Betis are going for Adama Traoré.
  • The club has made a strong commitment to the Spanish international and has made him a top-level offer.
  • The winger is finishing his contract with Wolverhampton.
  • Abde and Samuel Lino are two alternatives, but Adama's the most realistic option.
  • However, the process isn't so straightforward despite some optimism.
    • Significant offer from an Arab team
    • Reminder: Wolves announced that they're negotiating a new contract for Adama after his previous one ended
Summarised translation:

What's the state of Barca and their levers? Are they out of levers? Have they found more levers?

Now that the Bellingham deal's done, we can see BVB going after Edson Álvarez. Tier 2:

What's the state of Barca and their levers? Are they out of levers? Have they found more levers?
If they had more levers, then they'd have been able to bring Lionel Messi back. As it stands, their only way out is to sell some good players in order to bring other good players in.

Barcelona wants to push the following players out of the club (Tier 1):

Barcelona's list of possible departures: Ferran Torres, Kessie, Raphinha...
  • The 3 essential player departures:
    • Ferran Torres: little playing time
    • Franck Kessié: arrived for free, so the net income will be significant
    • Ansu Fati: the player wants to stay, but both the father and Jorge Mendes are looking for a way out
  • Barcelona's open to selling the following players if they receive good offers:
    • Raphinha: sale possible for an offer more than €70m
    • Andreas Christensen: arrived for free, so a sizable offer will allow Barcelona to sell the player (desirable amounts not disclosed)

An unproved forward not having significant minutes in a team that has Mbappe, Messi and Neymar? nobody could have predicted this.
