I find this sort of arrogance from Xavi incredibly irritating. A manager with some grace wouldn’t talk about another team’s player like that. If you’re a Barca muppet then it’s obviously good but still.
He's always been that way. Remember him mouthing off in the media for months about Fabregas when Barca were trying to sign him from Arsenal.

No one knows except Spalletti and the people close to him. He had positive talks with the president a few days ago, too.
Rumor is that they triggered an extension and only told him by email without talking to him first about it.

Spalletti didn't seem that disappointed about the contract extension when he was asked about it a few weeks back. He seemed happy about staying in Napoli, overall, so an extension shouldn't have disappointed him. They can still offer him a new contract with improved terms.

Yeah its odd that a lot of this came recently but I wonder if we can pounce on that opportunity. If Spalleti leaves, KMJ's release clause triggered I wouldn't be surprised if there becomes a wave of players possibly leaving with Osimhen being involved.

Tier 1:

There are those at PSG who want to sell Marco Verratti.

For the moment, however, there are no official offers for the Italian, who has dreams of returning to Italy.

His very high salary could be a problem.

This is after Loïc Tanzi (Tier 1) reported that Verratti is looking for a new team to join after some of the recent turmoil at PSG (including being verbally attacked by the ultras):

Tier 1:

No plans to leave this summer, but the frustration runs deep: Joshua Kimmich is thinking about the next few years. He has been critical of FC Bayern's sporting development for some time. Contract talks therefore also in 2024 at the earliest.

Tier 1:

Kounde, OPEN to leave Barça.

The Frenchman has given the club the OK to listen to any offers that may come in.

Jules does not feel comfortable at full-back and sees many options outside of of having to stay there.

In the last few days he had a talk with Xavi, who is already aware of it.

Important: the Frenchman is open to leaving because he does not see any guarantees, but he has NOT asked for a transfer.

Jules has explained his situation and Barça knows that his market value has increased compared to last summer.

We will see in the coming weeks if the issue heats up or is redirected.

More on the Kounde case:

Barça are charging a fee of ~80 million Euros for the Frenchman.

He has been on the radar at England, where several clubs already had him on the agenda since his time at Sevilla.

Bayern are looking for a centre-back, but the coach is Tuchel, who wanted him as a full-back at Chelsea last year.

Summarised translation:

Tier 1:

As of today, the possible arrival of Marcus Thuram at Atlético de Madrid has been ruled out.

In recent months the Frenchman has been offered and sounded out by many clubs, including Atlético and Barça.

His contract expires in June.

Tier 1 (Loïc Tanzi):

Lucas Hernandez and PSG agree, Bayern still need to be convinced

Lucas Hernandez and PSG have reached an agreement in principle for next season. But Bayern, who hope to extend his contract, will be hard to convince

This is an interesting one, I think he could offer a lot to a lot of teams.
