'Decent' PL players have been going for £30M all summer, Fulham have brought 2 at that level. McT falls into the category of decent PL players, so £30M+ shouldn't be an issue.

But it seems to be, for whatever reason.

Sevilla have opened negotiations to sign Valentín Barco, who has not been playing much football at Brighton.
The Spanish club are looking for a one-year loan. The English club are willing to loan him out, but they want it to be without an option to buy.

Lyon have just accepted an offer from Fulham for Rayan Cherki. It is worth €15m, plus €5m in bonuses. The ball is now in the court of the 21-year-old, who has yet to make a decision.

At present, Cherki is not interested in this project and has made this clear to his representatives, while Fulham have not yet made contact with the player's entourage.
