Abde wants to play more minutes and everything is open until the summer transfer window closes.

Barça will not let him leave for less than €20m but his departure would generate more financial fair play as he cost just €2m in 2021

Bayer Leverkusen are the other club in the chase for Abde.

West Ham had a rowdy transfer season but if they can close Kudus (not a certainty, they dropped a few deals) and a couple of other targets -a CF- they might have a stronger team overall.

The talk is that he has a whole posse of agents maybe making the deal more difficult. Or Ajax changed minds... Didn't play so hardball earlier in the window.
This is similar to when they sold Antony to United. Earlier in the window, they had more time to find a replacement. Now, they don't, and their season's already underway, so he's not for sale except for a much larger sum of money.

Source (Tier 2):

An undisclosed Saudi Arabian club has made a move for Nicolas Pépé in recent hours.
  • Arsenal negotiate transfer fee
  • This is the hottest prospect for the winger, who has 1 year left on his contract.
  • Pépé turned down Besiktas' 3-year contract offer

First call by (Tier 1):

ABDE

Barça have told him today that they are NOT willing to listen to the multiple offers they have received for Abde (Bayern Leverkusen, Premier League and La Liga proposals).

Xavi wants him in the team. He believes he can be an important player.

Source (Tier 2):

Lloris will not be going to Lazio, despite a last-ditch attempt by the Roman side on Wednesday morning.
  • Lazio offered a 2-year contract + 1 year option.
  • Hugo Lloris refuses
  • The goalkeeper will be open to offers until the end of the mercato and could stay at Tottenham

Tier 1 corroboration:

As Fabrice Hawkins reported, Lloris chose not to move to Lazio: this is the goalkeeper's final decision

  • AS Monaco are progressing in their talks for Balogun.
    • First bid (Arsenal rejected it): €40m
  • Arsenal are hoping for close to €50m for the player.

Official: Bernardo Silva signs a one-year extension to his current contract with City, taking it until 2026

Tier 1:

  • Arsenal value Balogun at £50m.
  • Chelsea, West Ham, Tottenham, and both Milan clubs inquired about Balogun, but Monaco are the most advanced.
    • Offer expected by the end of the week
  • Small chance of Gabriel leaving if Arsenal can find a replacement
    • Real Madrid were interested in him to fill in for Eder Militão.
  • Marc Guehi interests Arsenal. Palace are interested in Tomiyasu, but Arsenal want to keep him to fill in for Timber.
