This is insane. I just cannot digest this. How / why are other clubs prepared to pay these kind of fees for City’s youth players?
Never even heard of this guy.
Southampton have some former City directors/scouts in there, and I wouldn't be surprised if they want to steal a march on other clubs that are also looking at these players. With that said, this fee's way too high for someone with barely a first-team appearance, so either he's in huge demand, or City's trying to extract some favours out of Southampton's former City directors.
