And we aren't slowing down the negotiations either, which seems to be one of the complaints about this club's transfer processes.I think it's positive for United all this is happening early in the window rather than later on.

I'm going to base this on the Dembele transfer to Barcelona given that we're dealing with similar agents. This might go down to the last day for us. Dortmund themselves aren't willing to negotiate, which is why they have agents representing them. The agents themselves are slow in negotiating this deal presumably to force our hand and make us pay up. In the end, we'll pay the full 120 million Euros; we'll probably be spending the bulk of the time negotiating a favourable payment structure. How do you see this one going?
What if the 60m + 20m add ons figure mentioned by Falk was an invitation to other clubs to bid - 80m will attract more suitors than 120m.?Yeah, exactly, this has gone way too far now for it to break down at this point. If we've come to a personal agreement with the player, there's no way we'll end our negotiations with Dortmund unless we want to risk looking way worse. The only way I can see the whole thing breaking down is if Sancho changes his mind all of a sudden or another club comes in and tempts Sancho to join them.
Feels like Costa has been linked to United for about a decade. Still don't want him.
Well, we made that initial offer to the agents. It wouldn't serve our interest in any way if other clubs came in to bid for Sancho (unless you're suggesting that Falk mentioning this is a ploy by Dortmund to start a bidding war). What if the 60m + 20m add ons figure mentioned by Falk was an invitation to other clubs to bid - 80m will attract more suitors than 120m.?

It's just so bland, like the signing.Terrible video
And that's why they have the agents come in for their negotiations. If they didn't, that'll make their position weaker in the transfer market. At least the agents can slow things down and allow Dortmund to maintain their hard stance similar to Spanish clubs with their high release clauses.I think it's in Dortmund's interest to drag this out hence the use of agents. If they can drag it closer to the close of the window then pressure will be applied to United. As it stands if United have Sanchos full agreement so early on in the window (as suggested) Dortmund have little power left hence the artificial deadline and the big PR drive to try and grab power back.
Kyle Walker-Peters to Southampton is now official.
With KWP out and Aurier on his way out, Spurs may not have a proper right back. They're most certainly going to bring in one lest they want to play central defenders there (Foythm Tanganga, Davinson Sanchez).
