  • Abramovich will make 250 million Euros available to Tuchel for incoming transfers
  • Targets: Jadon Sancho and Erling Haaland

No way are Chelsea signing both Haaland and Sancho. We certainly can’t just sit back and let that happen either, we have to make serious attempt to sign one of those.

Why not? If the structure of both transfers work for both teams, then they will. We can make attempts all we want, doesn't mean the player will want to come. I feel that Chelsea are going to have a big summer to try and make them back into contenders.

I think this window will show which clubs are self sustained and those who are sugar daddy backed, sadly we're in the third category of being self sustained whilst having parasites sucking the life out of us.

We're in for a quiet window again.

They did that last summer and look in danger of missing top 4.

They're 6 behind us and we played them tomorrow, only 2 behind West Ham as things stand too.

Yeah I know, but them becoming challengers simply through big signings isn't a forgone conclusion they sign big most summers.

What’s actually gone unnoticed with Chelsea is how shite their transfer record is. We had people on here in the summer trying to convince everyone how brilliant they are at transfers when they’re absolute bobbins. The money they’ve wasted the last 5 years is staggering.

Of course not but it's a mixture of those big signings fitting in line more with Tuchels tactics, which seem to be working a treat as they're unbeaten under him. I do think they need another CB though.

AS is talking about Varane's future being in doubt. They don't necessarily suggest clubs that he could go to. Mundo Deportivo and Sport, however, name-drop United along with a few other big clubs. I wouldn't take Mundo and Sport's suggestions too seriously, but it's clear that Real Madrid have some work to do to keep Varane in the club.

Note that Gazzetta's article reads more like an opinion piece than anything coming from Milan themselves, who've been quiet on every player they've loaned in other than Tomori (who they wanted to buy from the beginning).

Turns out he's not very good after all. Another atrocious buy by Mourinho

We bought Dalot injured. Failed his medical. Then they found long term issues with his hips. Sent him to specialists across the world.

You hate to see it

From what I've seen, he's been alright going forward, but defensively, he's struggled. His man-marking is poor for a full back, and he's overly reliant on recovery challenges rather than containing or slowing down the opposing dribbler.

I don’t know how anybody could be surprised. We’d rather go into this season with no real back up to Wan Bissaka than keep him. He’s shit.

£30m minimum. Might be harder to get too much more (though we really should’ve been able to ask for more last summer) as he’s on a bigger wage now.

Ideally we’d keep him and bin De Gea, but the latter looks like he’s glued here for the foreseeable (as he often is on his goal line).

It's stuff like this that I don't get. Either this article got it wrong or it's just poor planing from the club(as usual)

From my understanding Henderson was brought back to duke it out with DDG for the No.1 spot. Now the article says that nope, not the case DDG is undisputed No.1. Henderson is only back up. Which begs the question: why did we bring him back?

Should have loaned him out so that Deano can get regular game time and should have kept Romero as out No.2.

Instead we have a situation where we're about to lose our No.2, our new No.2 is on 100k a week and not even sure he'll stick around. The whole GK department is a complete mess. Then again you can say that about most of the areas on the team.
