I just would like to see him become more mature. But you're right though.

And having his own brand (irrespective of how shite we think it is), is immature because?!?

I have never seen Lingard do anything that I haven’t either done myself at a similar age or seen other people of a similar age do. Yes it’s immature but if he’s not at United, nobody cares.

He made a shit brand and a shit business decision. He has to deal with that.

It’s sometimes shocking to imagine how a player could be injured for this long.. even more shocking how our club could renew his last contract..

Yeah and as for that ridiculously long contract he has on about £100k a week

Conte wants him to stay unless he gets another striker in to take his place (Dzeko or otherwise).

Is it just me or have we become much more no-nonsense with regards to loans? If I’m not mistaken Garner is the 3rd player we’ve recalled this month due to loans not going to plan. I don’t remember it being that frequent in the past. Good stuff either way.

I keep seeing us linked with Mustafi. I'd rather stick with what we have than go with this guy:

I suggest you spoiler that Tweet so that it doesn't show up in the Transfer Tweets page.

Basically, it's not really a strong link. It's one that the media seems to have suggested, but Liverpool themselves haven't responded to it (directly or indirectly).

There's Garner and Levitt, and then there's Joel Pereira, who's appeared in only one match for Huddersfield (a 4-3 loss to Stoke City). He's been on the bench most of the time, and on 7 different instances, he didn't even make the matchday squad.

Chelsea, Arsenal, Galatasaray, and VfL Wolfsburg are also interested in Ali Akman [18-year-old forward]. The attacker has scored 10 goals in 17 matches this season.

Did he get recalled too? Didn’t see that. Thought it was Kovar and the first two.

No, I was citing Joel as a counterexample. I forgot that Kovar was the 3rd one, and whilst he + the two midfielders can show that we are more ruthless with our loans, the Joel Pereira loan spell is the exact opposite. He's still on loan at Huddersfield, by the way, and there hasn't been any news about him returning to United this month.

Probably because we already knew he has no future with us before he went there. We most likely struggled to move him on permanently.

There’s still hope for the other 3.

Yeah, that is the difference with him vs. the other 3.

Joel Pereira was the same as Borthwick-Jackson, and it's about United being decent. His contract is up, and instead of trying really hard to sell him they just let him show himself on loan until his contract is up. I think United are still paying Joel some of his salaries.

Nottingham Forest wouldn't be a bad club to join on loan. Hopefully he gets more minutes there.

FotoMac feature a quote from Besiktas chief Erdal Torunoğulları:
Cenk Tosun is the son of this house. He is the son of Besiktas community. It is a very important value for us and Turkish football.

Summary:

  • El-Shaarawy: 2.5-year contract
  • Reynolds
    • Loan w/purchase obligation
    • Price: 7 million Euros + 15% sell-on clause
  • Dzeko likely to remain at Roma

Chong going to Club Brugge for the rest of the season. They wanted Pellestri too but he's going to Spain.
