This is another example like the tweet about Burnley's 'big club tax' that wouldn't apply to the rest. Norwich would be quoting 30m+ from Pool or United if they showed an interest.

Well yeah, why wouldn't they? I also see the Tarkowski clause more in his interest than to rip off big clubs. It's a maximum price that Burnley can insist on that doesn't mean they can just demand 80 million and price him out of a move. Seems pretty reasonable to me.

Not a problem with it it's their business, it just makes me laugh at Norwich that they are happy to do business with Leeds for that fee, when only a few months backs this guy was linked with every club at the top. They've obviously got worried no one they can rinse is interested and don't want to see his value drop, same thing happened with Lewis only they settled for a slightly improved offer from Newcastle when they tried to get more out of us. They're doing the same thing now pricing Aarons out of a move to Barca or Bayern or whoever he's linked with, probably end up at neither.

What are the chances they will actually use that option to buy him for 27m€ after they had him for a season? 0%?

 You couldn't make this up!! Every other deal involving selling players to Italian clubs results in a year loan period with an obligation to buy. But us? It had to be an option didn't it? Idiots!

You think they’d actually take him on loan if it was an obligation to buy? No chance.

Our best hope is he goes there and produces the form of his life and they actually take us up on buying him.

A lot of clubs do obligations to buy for the following seasons for accounting reasons to be fair.

Don't see why not? If it's some for them friendly fee, i reckon they would have accepted that kind of a low risk, high reward type of deal.

We’ll sell Pogba and buy Milkinkovic-Savic next summer and the then Lazio will buy Pereira. Sorted.

“I think that Koulibaly will stay here. We’re so happy to keep him, he’s gonna stay *said through gritted teeth*”.

They've been putting him on the market for the last 3 years but no one will bite with the ludicrous fee they've put on his head.
