You mean clubs can have back up options AND can actually pursue them at the same time?
There is no need - it is obvious for everyone that he is simply not good enough, no footballing ability of required level. It’s not something you may train.I dont think we should sell James. He's hardly played for us. Give the lad a chance.
It says Utd will not buy a centre back. Priority is a right winger and potentially a left back.
I can't read the article, but I guess United's priorities are:
- Right winger (i.e. Sancho)
- Left back
- Centre back

Thanks for that. I'm surprised that my guess was that close. It says Utd will not buy a centre back. Priority is a right winger and potentially a left back.
Not a surprise but the lack of interest in a defensive minded midfielder has been frustrating. It says Utd will not buy a centre back. Priority is a right winger and potentially a left back.

Except they usually cover shit. It's either Matic or bust more precisely. Not sure why we need one this year more than the other three areas. We play double pivot not a lone DM and we have enough players to cover the double pivot for this season.

Barca observes a very advanced operation [i.e. Semedo's sale].
In England, Wolves will pay a guaranteed 30 million Euros + variables.
Two options for right back that Barcelona are monitoring: [Sergino] Dest and [Max] Aarons
Tomorrow, the operation can be closed [i.e. Semedo will be sold].
I wouldn't say dominant by any means, they even had a bit more possession and I never feel we are in any sort of control of the game without Matic. Even with Matic we are often very easily cut apart imo never mind without him.Our midfield was very dominant without Matic against Sevilla. Did you watch the way how our midfield play in that game?
Bailly, Tuanzabe and Mengi till the end of the season then.
My only defence is that I was very tired, still the length of time I was trying to open the picture is just embarrassing.sorry

I get what you are saying but for that style of play I am not sure we have the defense. To play like that we need 2 CBs with pace who can recover and defend in a high line, our best CB will never be that and that's not even getting to the full backs. If we are to persist with playing like that, we need an athletic CDM who can cover for our CBs, and we the only CDM we have is Matic, he is also far from athletic. We are never the type of possession football team, we are more direct and the way how we keep winning the ball back in midfield like vs Sevilla should be the aim we go for imo.
How do you sell a perma crock and a greedy so and so.
Don't forget we are Manchester United we do things other clubs only dream of. Our players must be on high wages because we are the best in the world.£75k a week, surely he would have accepted a trebling of his wages?

It isn't compared to some of our contracts, but I am sure we never ask what these players want, if they did they might find some would be happy with double their wages. The players eyes must light up when someone offers them 4 times as much.We have some form of a wage structure, 70/75k seems to be the mark for semi regular first team players, it's not exactly crazy money relatively.
Ole's worst decision was giving Jones a 5 year deal. Absolute mug of a move to sign off on that.We gave both Jones and Rojo new contracts not that long ago, stupid club.
If we are serious we should offer them a payoff and terminate their contracts just like we did with Sanchez and get someone to take them for free.
I'd give Ole a bye on that one considering he was recently appointed caretaker manager when that happened.Ole's worst decision was giving Jones a 5 year deal. Absolute mug of a move to sign off on that.
