2 goals and 5 assists in 11 Europa games is a nice return for a player out the team.

His link-up with Fernandes is clear to see.

He's much more creative than the likes of James when we play against weaker teams.

I like how you also added consistently, which I myself didn't use.
Palace aren't a Europa league side. Mata has bad stats when he plays against PL sides.

If we swap Dele with Jesse, it won't have any impact on us signing Upamecano. If Spurs pay cash for Jesse, then we might redirect it , to try and sign Upa
On the basis of his inferior passing, I don't see how Dele Ali gets into this United side. So why put him in the squad? Then there's the wages: as soon as we get him, we pay him £80k+/week. Then we'll never be able to off-load him.

So Alli had a fall out with Mourinho, and Mourinho wants to buy Lingard.
Am i still asleep and dreaming? This is amazing!

You want us to play 3-5-2 against a mid to lower table side at OT?

I'd prefer you explicitly name the 3-5-2 you'd like us to play; especially your central midfield 3, and your wing-backs. So Telles is one wing-back.Who's the other?

No, I wouldn't want us to play that but let's use CP as an example, we ended up going to a version of 3-5-2 to try win the game.

Rashford was anonymous.

I'd have started with 4-3-3.

We could have then gone 3-5-2 to win the game.

When did I say Mata should play against Palace?

James should't have either.

The point is Mata can be a better sub/back-up/squad player on the RW than James.

IMO -
Sancho/Traore > Greenwood > Mata
then Rashford > James

I honestly think Lingard is a better player than Alli at this moment in time. If United and Spurs are trying to do a swap deal for each other's deadwood here then Spurs are getting the better deal. Alli has been atrocious at Spurs for ages now.

Feels like players, manager AND press are calling the owners out. I can’t remember this happening before?

If we lose to Brighton, this will go into overdrive too.

Obviously Jose called the owners out, but the press lapped that up as Jose having a meltdown is in their interests

You know Woodward. We'd be lucky to get Sancho/RWF and Telles.

Press called out Woodward and board out before. Nothing changed. They pretended they would hire a sporting director and that was that

If he sells Dele and signs Lingard then Jose even further cements his place as a Chelsea legend.
Mourinho is a laughing stock at this point going back and forth failing at PL clubs. But if you say club legend..

Lingards best form since being at United strangely was under the helm of Mourinho. It's not surprising to see he's interested. Spurs seem to have this laziness element of the midfield that Jose is clearly looking to cull.

Who would take a Dele-Jesse swap if it meant we got Telles and say, Upamecano?
No. Under no circumstances should we take players we don't need. No place for Dele at United. Don't see the point doing a PSG or a Juve = buying him just to sell later. United are a football club not a charity shop selling tic-tac. We should only buy players we either need or who're top pospects.

Selling clubs are hoping the buyer becoming desperate and caves, for example United lose the next two matches and just cave in to Dortmund demands or there is a bidding war near the end.
Buying clubs are hoping that no one bites on the price selling clubs has set for a player and they can shave several million off near the end when the seller doesn't have a choice on keeping hold of an unhappy player.

They can't both be right.

This is really surprising, I thought Mourinho would love Dele.

He hasnt been very good for some time now though, long before Mourinho arrived even. I never got the fuss about him at first, but there was a period he looked like developing into a fine player, really hasnt happened though. My personal opinion is he is far better as an attacking box to box midfielder than playing in the number 10 role
