Considering the amount of time he spends on the treatment table, I think we should cut our losses and let him leave on a free.

We gain nothing from keeping him on our books so he definitely should be free.

Just get rid of Rojo, Jones and Smalling ffs. It's beyond tedious at this point. Make some money on Smalling and use it to buy the other two out of their contracts.

Oh ffs Ed, just get rid of deadwood, you are doing exactly the same shit you did with Darmian. You never learn. Keep giving shite players huge wages and then demand probably lot of money for them.
Sometimes I think he does not know anything about business.

what i find odd is we cry Covid -19 when looking to buy players but when its time to sell them we act as if its a normal economy and everyone is loaded.

We can be thr best at things that don't cost money is a horrendous line from a fans point of view. Sounds like he knows the spending is over.

No, it sounds like a manager who is trying to emphasise that he expects his players to put in extra effort and doesent want them to focus on things they can not control. Players watch pressers and have access to internet

Im glad he doesent have tantrums like Mourinho or half of the caf population

Sarr being left out of Watford s lineup can mean a move may be imminent. Liverpool is the most cited destination but I assume that now they have Jota they re not interested anymore.
Us also being mentioned, some rumours saying Watford offered him to us after failing to reach an agreement with liverpool. Allegedly Watford were asking for 40m + 10m add-ons.

40m + 10 is too much. I would give them 30m + 10

Koeman has told Riqui Puig that he doesn't count on him and should look for a way out.

The kid always seemed to have a lot of class about him every time I saw him play. Interesting decision on Koeman's part to not even give him a run in the team first.

So yesterday there was an espn report that we wanted a young LB to develop behing Shaw and now there's a gffn report that we want an experienced upgrade on Shaw. It's almost like no one has a clue and is just guessing.

We want an 19 years old LB to develop with 10 years of experience. This is the current norm in almost every job!

Apparently they refused an offer close to 30m+10 from liverpool...if rumours are to be believed
Liverpool moved for jota as they only had to pay £5mil upfront and rest of payments over next few seasons. Watford want £40mil lump payment upfront which is why liverpool went for Jota. Watford would be happy to loan Sarr out for a season to a PL club with no option to buy.

No idea why people are crying about the Rojo tweet when it says Estudiantes want him next summer when his contract his up. Rojo isn't going to give up whatever wage he's on now to go there for less.

Genoa confirm Davide Zappacosta (Chelsea) and Marko Pjaca (Juventus) on loan deals.

Tuchel wants more recruits (no left back though as confirmed earlier; Tuchel still has Bakker and Diallo, both of who can play there):

Translation:
Thomas Tuchel confirms that he still wants the recruitment of a striker, a midfielder or a central defender. Depending on this recruitment, the position of Marquinhos could evolve. But it is not excluded that Paris recruits both (central defender & midfielder).

Translation:
Thomas Tuchel confirmed the refusal of Choupo-Moting's contract offer: "Yes, it's a regret. He was an important part of this group because he played his role well. It's up to us to find other solutions now."

He tried already.

Taiwo Awoniyi joins Union Berlin on loan from Liverpool.

He was pretty good for Mainz last season, so he's one to keep an eye out for.

After a good last season (albeit on loan, Juve's Luca Pellegrini has received requests from 3 clubs: Genoa (his previous loan club), Atalanta, and Parma.

If Luca Pellegrini leaves, then de Sciglio will stay.

So you think that with extra effort lingard, Pereira, Mata, James are good enough do you? Remarkable.

Never have I ever said that. I'll try to type more concisely so you understand me. A managers job is to achieve the best results with assets that he has. Season starts today. It was evident at the time of the pre match presser that there will be no signings before the game. A statement that he has no faith in his team, the team is no good, he needs better players would achieve what? It is something he discuses with the board behind closed doors. Burning bridges, pointing fingers, exposing dirty laundry, having tantrums, throwing players under the bus... we have been there, I hope we learned something.
To conclude, I was referencing the statment Ole made. I have no idea how you read it like you did. I hope to God we sign as many world class players as we can but I dont want Ole to discuss our plans and possibilities with the press.

OK. Just an FYI making a post longer than the one before doesn't make it more concise.

I would much prefer this to Koulibaly given the prices being quoted and the age differences.
