We arent interested in telles. He is shit.

What next? We are going to start rating Coentrao again?

The caf constantly complains about the squad having a lot of dead weight and wants us to panic and buy more mediocrity.. weird.

Very true. People who has seen him in FIFA .
Ok, he has 84 rating and he must be damn good.

Grimaldo is the one to look for but way too injury prone.

According to Bild, Taiwo Awoniyi apparently rejected PAOK as he's more interested in joining Union Berlin.

Is Gaya from Valencia still available? I always thought he looked like he could be playing for a top team in Spain/Europe

Isn’t that what Brandon Williams is currently doing? We need someone in who can challenge Shaw or replace him as he seems incapable of staying fit for a full season.
We need a left-footer without a doubt. Didn’t Williams come on and play RB in the friendly against Villa?

He played at right back in our pre-season friendly against Aston Villa. The club might be eyeing him for that position to compete with Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
No I think a young left footed player like that Ukrainian lad we’ve been linked to.
Mykola Matviyenko, right? I haven't seen any strong links to him, but we might be monitoring him at this time.

Edit: wrong guy; the actual name is Vitaliy Mykolenko (thanks @gajender)

Think Ole has seen there is a weakness in our attack when we play a right footer at left back, hence trying to get a natural left footer to compete with Shaw.

Yeah that’s the one, someone we can develop and will eventually be able to challenge Shaw properly.

He declared a few months back that he'll stay at Valencia to help them out in their current malaise.

Surely his value now would be better then to wait a year and possibly him leaving for less? I'd love to take a chance on him and with Valencia's problems they probably consider a 30-40 million bid.

I do believe they announced the whole team was for sale except him but that could change with an offer they couldn't refuse

He was talking about the window, to include Bruno and Ighalo in the conversation is misleading. While VDB looks a great signing, it is hugely underwhelming to have signed a single rotation player while our rivals, who we needed to gain ground on, have strengthened left and right. There's no sugarcoating it.
Taking no prisoners, too right though! I love his passion for speaking against them, we need more guys like Jules to make people realise how stupid our board is.
Sorry mate United fans will not be influenced by opinions of a French Journalist. Even John Motson can not influence Un

Williams is not a left back

No its Vitaliy Mykolenko .

Jota is the perfect backup option Werner didn't sign up to be. He won't see a first XI place for as long as Salah and Mane are fit and available but a solid player to bring off the bench to give them a 10-15mins breather. For 35m+ that's a lot for a backup. Then again there is Keita so......feck Klopp.

Could this simply be a tactic to put some pressure on Williams by suggesting he might not be doing enough and therefore a replacement could come in?

Doubt it. The club gave him a new contract recently so he must be doing well in the eyes of the management to have earned that

Maybe that young kid from sporting who we were linked with earlier

We have a highly rated young left back just about ready to come through though don't we? Laird is it?

Mengi was promoted to first team to be the new CB.

It's Sancho or bust really and if they do get Sancho with DvdB already here then I think we're up there challenging for 3rd with an outside chance of a title challenge.

Nuno Mendes. He's very highly rated but surely a bit young and raw to come in and challenge. Dalot hasn't particularly worked out.

Rayan Ait-Nouri is another very young but talented option.

Mykolenko was linked to us and West Ham. West Ham supposedly didn't think he would adapt to the PL.

I'd love Guerreiro and Sancho from Dortmund. £160m double deal?

David Alaba would be an amazing signing. He could mainly play as our holding midfielder alongside Pogba but could cover Shaw if injured. Considering we've been linked to DM and LB targets it seems to make too much sense.

According to a source close to Porto, agreement reached between Alex #Telles and Manchester United. Agreement on a 5-year contract. Manchester United will now discuss with Porto. PSG are also on the lookout. Paris is still considering this issue. #MUFC#RMCsport

He would have immediately competed for Shaw’s place.
On what basis do you think he is better than Shaw? How you really watched him consistently over a certain amount of games? He wasn't good enough to be even a reserve at Madrid. Basically, third choice.

On the basis he was one of the best lbs in la liga last season

He played a lot of the previous season at Real Madrid before Zidane was re-hired. Zidane didn't fancy him and asked for Ferland Mendy. For a while though Reguilon usurped Marcelo in the starting XI.

I don't know how good he is overall but he certainly would offer a better attacking option than Shaw or Williams. Home games against lower table sides he would have been a better option to have.

Very good buy. That is what i call backup player. Not James, Ighalo, Lingard etc...
fecking Pool
I don't think he's all that but when you compare him to our backup options then he appears world class. James as our main backup winger

If true it seems we only pull the trigger on transfers when there’s a threat of other clubs getting involved, was a similar case with VdB. Quick someone spread the word PSG are eyeing up Sancho!
