Bologna have beaten Bayern Munich to sign one of Scotland's most promising players nowadays.

Admins seem to always want to defend Fridge. This thread is just better now that he's gone - not saying he's not a nice guy, just that most people had no interest in reading his lower league tweets.
Whether you are interested in not, he’s fully entitled to post them. Instead what we have witnessed is some posters trying to harass and bully another member just because they aren’t excited enough by his posts. It’s childish behaviour and unbecoming of our forum

I'm sorry, the admins are either finding him funny and winding us up or they are truly oblivious to his constant trolling. No one cares about them lower league transfers and posting them repeatedly whilst being told no one cares is trolling of the highest order.

Well clearly some people do care since even in the last few pages some posters have said they are interested. Saying no one cares is your opinion. Which is wrong btw.

I've never understood how anyone can come on a "public" forum and visit threads and get upset about the fact that something has appeared in front of their eyes that they don't want to read. There's a fantastic scroll feature on browsers!

If Sancho wants the deal, and Dortmund want the deal and the only stumbling block is the agents fees, Sancho should tell his agent to either accept a more reasonable fee or go feck himself. He's supposed to be supporting Sancho in his career, not preventing him from advancing it. It not like he isn't going to make fortunes out of him anyway.

Either this story is complete bullshit, or the agent is an absolute cnut and only out for himself.
I reckon its a similar situation to pogba where the club that the player is going to as the stepping stone gets him for peanuts with view to let the agent deal with his future transfer.

Too many moaning that he posts too many tweets not related to United so he took a step back. Luckily for you lot @mazhar13 gas stepped up to the spam a lot of tweets role

I will say this. The comparison between Fridge and Mazhar is probably a little unfair. Mazhar posts United and elite European league transfer tweets. Fridge posts almost exclusively Championship (and lower) transfer tweets. The only commonality is that they both post a lot of them.

Arsenal need to pay up or shut up when it comes to Partey. I don't know why they'd think that he's negotiable.

The question is whether Atletico stance is that they don't negotiate, so Arsenal needs to trigger the release clause which is all cash at one. As we see, clubs would prefer to pay in installment. Arsenal happens to be cash restricted club

People seem a bit sensitive given the disappointment with Sancho (fingers still crossed on that potential transfer!) so I've taken a step back. If we have a good summer I'll post some updates later on because there's a lot of interesting movement in the non-Prem professional leagues.
I am always interested in the lower leagues and miss your input, people that didn’t like it can always use the ignore function. For those of us who are as interested in Swindon as we are Seville, you were a great curator of info.

Should add I also like @mazhar13 habit of tagging me on Brighton related tweets too!

Are Bologna known for promoting and developing youth ?
They aren't necessarily well-known for this, but they do have some good young players in their team already (Tomiyasu, Svanberg, Skov Olsen, Barrow, and Orsolini). They aren't afraid to give chances to young players, so if Hickey does well enough, he can easily establish himself. What'll help him is the fact that Bologna don't have an established left back in their team.

That would be quite the turnaround after categorically stating he won't leave and rolling out half the first team to put something on record about how excited they all are that he's staying

In fact, he hadn’t posted for a couple of weeks yet people were still name dropping him. Obsessed much?
I don't mind his tweets, he seems to be marmite on the forums. However, why can't the admins just make a sub-thread for lower league tweets, it'll solve all problems and lessen the hate he gets.

An analogy would be like like posting reserve manutd posts on the main, it's for a different set of fans interested in that, sub threads/forums (not sure what it's called) was made for that.

To be honest, it would give them the perfect excuse to fans that they didn't want to sell him but they promised Sancho if the bid of that amount came in they wouldnt stand in his way.

What I have no doubt about is that Dortmund DO want to sell him. This notion that they don't want to sell him is nonsense. You don't openly declare a month ago that you are happy to sell Sancho and his price is 120m euro and then suddenly have a change of sentiment. When the cash is slapped on the table, Dortmund will snatch it.

So! What’s so interesting about SPAL or Granada as opposed to a team possibly from the town a poster lives in or a player they might recognise?

Same with the guy saying Fridge should be in a sub-forum. Why should he be and not the other stuff?

That attitude totally sickens me. And how do you know who’s interested in Fridge’s posts and who isn’t? Just because there’s a few open moaners doesn’t mean that’s the consensus.

Nooo, don't listen to the haters man!

You didn't broke any rules, and the modmins is fully supportive.

Besides, I like playing FM with lower league teams, and your posts is a nice option for my transfers

Given how this is going, the fee for Koulibaly might go really, really high.

Also, Napoli have set some good targets to replace their losses. They're looking to spend big for sure.

Juve can get Suarez as long as Suarez settles on his contract termination with Barcelona. They're also keeping tabs on Dzeko in case Roma get Milik.

Notice how the people moaning about the tweets have posted a grand total of none themselves?

@mazhar13 @Tom Van Persie @Zoo & myself have kept this thread going by ourselves this summer. Maybe the moaners could contribute if they are the experts?

Regarding Darmian, Inter and Parma have a gentleman's agreement where Inter can buy Darmian for 2.5 million Euros. The transfer can be easily completed; all that remains is to execute the transfer itself.

This Tweet needs much more attention.

Strong words from Christian Falk that goes against earlier statements from Watzke and senior members representing BD.
Yep, definitely a change in narrative now.

If anyone wants the original thread that Fjortoft refers to, here you go:

EDIT: Translation (thanks to @Red Stone)
Have heard that United - in addition to van de Beek - are interested in Thiago.

The rest of the thread goes into what Fjortoft basically summed up in 1 Tweet. Key Tweet:

Translation:
Liverpool's financial situation apparently means that they have to sell before they can buy (Thiago). United come late to the party here, but in that sense it is possible to coup Thiago.

What about the deadline?
Zorc caught bullshitting again.
That deadline was always bullshit.

When you go to buy a car, the salesman always gives you a price and says it's only available at that price if you buy it today. You walk away and offer the same money tomorrow. The salesman sells you the car.
