I remember youth ITK's claiming this guy was dead cert to become a top level PL player.
Evidence either to ignore youth ITKs or that the majority of elite talented youth players fail to make the step up.

At one point he looked it. Then had injury issues. A lot of this is luck, can they stay healthy while their body develops?

Looks like he’s just come out of prison

This makes no sense. This guy was supposed to have similar talent to Pogba. Why would we be looking to sell him?
He doesn’t. Looked decent when he joined but hasn’t kicked on.

Injuries and a terrible attitude.

In actuality he’s way off the required standard.

Because he doesn't have similar talent to Pogba.

Watch him for a few games. You see it in flashes and then you see nothing at all. I think he will develop late in his career if he gets more disciplined.

That's such a downer because couple years back, it seemed like he was progressing pretty well. Well, he's still young. Hope he lives up to his potential.

Good technique and physical gifts are pretty good things to have for a young player.
Right, there's nothing wrong with that, but he didn't go much further from there. His best performances came in more attacking roles (left wing, attacking left-sided midfielder) where he didn't have to be so disciplined. Even then, he wasn't necessarily creative, and there were several matches where he was poor.

Rocco Commiso, Fiorentina's owner, opens the door for Chiesa to leave.

Chiesa? I kept him this year, now I have left the door open for whatever he chooses to do, as long as the offer is right. He can leave if he wishes to, for the right offer.

Bournemouth were interested in loaning James Garner and still might be.

You know this how?
By all accounts he refused to play and train with the 23s as he thought he was too good, left on a free thought he'd get straight into the first team somewhere. Now he's at barrow.

He looks about 50 years old in that photo.

Thats exactly what I thought and to be fair it seems like he has been here 50years, cant believe we hav eheld on to him for so long, Mensah is now the new Jackson

Not sure if that's confirmed as he had some terrible injury woes

Depends on the business Bournemouth do. They have CMs, he might find it hard to get games. If they sell Lerma and Billing he's a lot more likely to play

But there could be other clubs interested, it's only a loan after all not a permanent thing

Well users on here who follow the youth teams closely, seem to say otherwise, but I have no reason to see why they would lie about that.
I've been an avid U23 and U18 follower for about 4 years. I remember Liverpool were sniffing about him and that's about it! Last I heard he was being held together by sticky tape and had considered retiring

Shame. Maybe we can put a buy-back clause in just in case he figures it out. Some players don't get it right until a bit later. A player like Sadio Mane wasn't really on peoples radar until 23-24.

Yeah, I'd still not rule him out. He just needs to learn how to use his skills to perform at his best.

Fair enough, if you check the responses I got in the angel gomes thread about him Vs the gribbin situation, there were some pretty damning comments

Apparently the actual reason the transfer is being held up is the agent fee of 50m. We’re also apparently sceptical about the deal because his agent offered him to Real Madrid for a smaller fee.

He had some injury problems but most of his problems were to do with a massively over inflated ego

Where have you seen this?
