Bollocks. He's been very open about how he didn't like his time at United at all. He's been saying that for years now. Now he wants to leave for CL footy which we can't offer him yet all of a sudden he wants to come back?

Palace including our name to drive up the price

Money talks

100m for Zaha, fecking no thanks. He's a good player but paying 100m for him will be another ridiculous transfer from us.

Can’t resist
Had to reply...
A Billion is bigger than a million... num* n*tt

:wenger::lol::D

Erm yes...the whole sketch is about figures escalating and palace talking 100m why not ask a billion. Just to be even sillier

really annoyed Jovic is gone to Madrid for that fee. meanwhile we'll struggle with Luk and Rash then

Zaha? No thanks.

Sure, he's got skill and pace, but I really can't say I rate him that highly. Certainly not £100m high, not even £50m high in truth.

Luka Jovic will leave Eintracht Frankfurt and move to Real Madrid for 60 million euros. He receives a five-year contract

Very good price. They have had the loan of Vallejo and Mascarell in the past. Maybe in the future they´ll continue to collaborate, and it may be the reason for such a good price.
The press in Madrid, certainly not very objectively, said weeks ago that he wanted to play at Madrid, since he is Madridista (when the Barcelona interest arose)

What!?

Did Zaha even have that great of a season ?
League stats compared to our attackers:
Martial - 1623 mins, 10 goals, 3 assists, 125 mins/contribution (proof mins/contribution isn't everything)
Rashford - 2343 mins, 10 goals, 7 assists, 138 mins/contribution
Zaha - 3043 mins, 10 goals, 10 assists, 152 mins/contribution
Lukaku - 2130 mins, 12 goals, 1 assist, 164 mins/contribution
Mata - 1293 mins, 3 goals, 4 assists, 185 mins/contribution
Sanchez - 877 mins, 1 goal, 3 assists, 219 mins/contribution
Lingard - 1668 mins, 4 goals, 3 assists, 238 mins/contribution

I think he was basically playing as a striker all season, but guess you've got to factor in the strength of the teams - Palace scored 14 fewer goals. Zaha contributed to 40% of their goals this season.

Also in regards to Zaha Liverpool won't want him and certainly not City. Spurs maybe but can't see them paying the over £50m that will be required. Chelsea may be interested but are awaiting answer on ban. So at the end of the day Spurs/Chelsea? No top club outside of England is going to want to pay his demanded fee.

Not sold on Zaha's goal threat, doesn't get any 'easy' goals, points to lack of good movement.

For what it's worth I prefer him on the right. It sort of simplifies his game, similar to how it did for Nani. He gets outside more and is more direct instead of the constant cut backs.

Are Atletico having a scrap sale or something? Godin and Hernandez gone. Griezmann and Rodri about to go and now they mention Saul as well. Though I doubt he'll leave, just a few weeks ago he was saying on radio he's not leaving any time soon. But why are Atletico letting go of so many?
Godin and Juanfran contracts ran out so decided to leave as will Filipe Luis it seems. Atletico has a policy that players over 30 can only get 1-year extensions.

Lucas and Rodrigo had/have release clauses as does Griezmann. Lucas and Rodrigo set around 70m.

Saul, Koke, Oblak are wrapped up long term.

Mahrez was £50M, I'd rather have Mahrez over Zaha, for 50M. We could probably get Mahrez for nearer 40 now, anyway.

Mahrez won't leave City yet, especially since they are selling Sane

Notice you carefully avoided Pogba, our most productive player. ;)

Im pretty sure they have started putting in "no other manchester club" sell on clauses for players they sell like that Diaz kid to Madrid. Also Sane clearly has attitude issues, do we really need that?

Might be linked to not playing as often as he wants to, whenever hes been playing he has looked great and on it
