Poor Dybala, they're pushing him out to get Lukaku. Must feel really bad.
For us It's like selling your house while knowing the boiler is fecked. You feel bad but you do it anyway.

Seeing David Amoyal reporting that Bruno will join us after the Portuguese super cup on Sunday. He's one of DiMarzio's friends and often works for ESPN but isn't really known to speculate or BS about transfers unless they're just about official so I'm starting to get quite excited...

His main job is working for Di Marzio as his English editor. He sometimes does other freelance stuff for the likes of ESPN and The Guardian.

Something like that. :D

And you somehow get a brand new house instead, with a pool.

Yeah I'll admit it's a shit analogy.

I'm just still pissed off I had to shell out for a new boiler 6 months after buying my house...

Di marzio was on it lately too. Let's see. But it's stupidity not to sign him as he can play as an 8 and 10 with good creativity and passing range that we direly need while having a free run this summer.
I just don't see how we fit Pogba, Dybala and Bruno in the same side without playing someone out of position. Maybe if we had Kante to cover for them, but we have Matic, so...

You are forgetting about PES cover Supestar, The McTerminator.

The Turin-Manchester axis remains hot with the all-out negotiations between Juventus and Manchester United for the Lukaku-Dybala exchange.
The agreement between the Bianconeri and the Belgian striker who wants to leave the Red Devils is there, but it is between the clubs and the Dybala side that some details need to be fixed before they can be closed (from those related to image rights to those more technicians like the change of money and without forgetting that United in the last has also defined the operation Maguire). Furthermore, together with the Dybala-Lukaku exchange there is also the possibility that United will take Mandzukic from Juventus.

He's in the lowest tier of sources, so I'm not going to bother posting the tweet (someone else is most welcome to), but Tancredi Palmeri hints that there's some sort of legal mess with Dybala's image rights. Seems like a strange thing to make fake rumours about.

Given Di Marzio just mentioned a problem with that, might be the first time hes ever got something right.

Suppose if you throw enough shit at a wall...

Dybala, Bruno and Mandzukic. Surely someone other than Lukaku has to leave as well then. Assuming we play a 4-2-3-1, for the front 4 positions we'd have, Rashford, Martial, Lingard, Mata, James, Greenwood, Sanchez, Dybala, Bruno and Mandzukic. 10 players for 4 positions is unsustainable. And this is without counting Gomes and Chong who I assume will be sent on loan if we get these 3.

I don't really get the Mandzukic thing. Getting him AND Dybala would bloat the attacking room, would it not? Martial, Rashford, Dybala, James, Lingard, Mata, Greenwood, Chong, Gomes ... more than enough options in my opinion.

EDIT: feck, I even forgot Sanchez :wenger:

If we could get rid of Sanchez I’d be all for Mandzukic with Dybala and that would cap off a very decent window.

Posted half an hour ago. Since then DiMarzio has come out with a more positive take. Should be smoothed out.

If we sign Mandzukic does Greenwood go out on loan?

What the hell are we going to do with Alexis? He has to go surely can’t pay him all that cash to chill with his dogs at home. How much longer does he have left on his contract?

Lingard can go do a running jump. Chong will probably go on loan, Greenwood is 17. Gomes will probably deputize under Dybala and Mata and make sub appearances.

Greenwood is 17, pal. Absolutely no rush to get him minutes. Should focus on playing more consistently for the reserves next year and developing physically.

I don't get it either. Martial Rashford Sanchez as 9 and all of them play on the left as well with James included. Why would we want manzukic on the books.

people can write this and hate him all they want, he'll still be a part of the squad and get games. Just have to accept it.

He's welcome to the Europa League group stage and FA Cup/Carabao cup early stages. Absolutely no need for him to be around beyond this year. Hope he gets Walcotted to Everton or Southampton.

Might be going back to the diamond or 3 at the back.

Martial/James/Chong --------- Rashford/Mandzukic/Greenwood
Dybala/Sanchez/Gomes
Pogba/Mata --------McTominay/Pereira
Matic/Fred
Shaw/Young Maguire/Jones/Rojo -- Lindelöf/Smalling/Axel WanBissaka/Darmian
deGea/Romero/Grant/Pereira
The midfield still seems a bit light.

For me Gomes and Chong do need a loan and no offence to Mata and Lingard they are just not good enough. James is very raw also so his game time I think will be limited to sub appearances. I think Mata and Sanchez will be gone next summer also. Its a good problem to have and whoever plays the best deserves to play.

Really hope we get Dybala or Bruno now (and even Mandzukic as well possibly). I still don't think we're even in for Bruno so fingers crossed for the two from Juve.

Think Maguire will be a big signing for us and our defence has improved considerably this summer.

Midfield is very light. If Pogba is out we are going to be in trouble.
Looks like we'll be going with a 4-2-3-1 so for the midfield two we have Pogba, McTominay, Matic, Fred and Pereira. For the number 10 it looks like we should be getting one more which would put us in a decent position.
